Candidates must pass Class 12 (CBSE/ ISC/ State Boards) with at least 80% aggregate for direct admission to UG courses. Aspirants eligible for direct admission get exemption from the entrance exam. Selection will be only on the basis of Amity Application Form
Aspirants with at least 70 percentile in CAT/ MAT exam are eligible for direct admission to MBA course. Such candidates are exempted from entrance test and can directly come for GDPI round.
Direct Admission will be offered to BA LLB, B.A. LL.B. (Hons), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons) and BCom LL.B. (Hons) based on CLAT score of 90 and above, subject to meeting the Minimum Eligibility Criteria prescribed for the programme.

NOTE: 1. Direct Admission based on Class 12% is not applicable for the programmes of Architecture / Design / Education/ Fine Arts / Fashion / Law and Physical Education.

2. Direct Admission is not applicable for Post Graduate programs

Review of Amity University, Gurugram.

Placements: I am currently pursuing a master of optometry from the 2020-2022 batch at Amity University, Gurugram. A good percentage of students have enrolled in our batch. Besides this, Amity also offered us academic scholarships. Reputed companies like Essilor, Vision Rx, etc., usually provide placements for us. Our department tends to put all its possible efforts to make us well-trained in theory as well as practical-based things to work as a full-fledged independent optometrist.

Infrastructure: I pretty much enjoy infrastructure, ambience, environment, hostel facility and most importantly, different options for food, which we can choose according to our choice. We can enjoy different delicacies at different places on the same campus. We're provided with a gym, sports complex as well as a time to excel in our interests and hobbies.

Faculty: I am lucky enough to learn under the guidance of such an esteemed group of faculty members here. I am always interested in learning from them and learn important lessons from them. Our faculty members have always provided their utmost support and encouragement in making us better persons. They've always been very kind during their teaching process and our learning.

Other: I am looking forward to serving the people who face any problem related to their eyes, and I am very much resilient in doing so. Moreover, I want to promote optometry and provide more awareness among the majority of people regarding it wherever and whenever.

Is PCM mandatory for BTech at Amity University, Gurugram?

PCM is not mandatory for BTech in Biomedical Engineering offered by Amity University, Gurugram. However, every other BTech course does require candidates to have Mathematics as a mandatory subject. Thus, only PCM or PCMB stream students are eligible for those BTech courses.

At this point, only AMCAT registrations are open for Amity University, Gurugram BTech admission in 2026. All other entrance exams have been concluded at this point and some such as JEE Mains have already disclosed their results. Candidates can register until end of May for AMCAT.
