Amity University Gurugram selects candidates based on State Engg Entrance Exam/JEE/AMCAT. The courses are offered in more than 10 specialisations. The duration of the course is four years. The eligibility critetia for the course is based on Class 12 with a 60% aggregate in aggregate with subjects Physics, Maths & Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.

Candidates passing Class 12 with a minimum in the range of 50% to 60% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course excluding BTech (Computer Science & engineering ) International.  The course required 55% aggregate in Class 12. Amity University Gurgaon course admission to BTech course is based on JEE Main/ National or state-level Engineering entrance exam/ AMCAT score. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths can also apply for BTech Internet of Things.

To be eligible to appear for the JEE Main exam, students need to have at least 75% marks in Class 12 with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects for BTech courses, PCM for BArch and Maths for BPlan. There is no age limit to apply for the JEE Main; however, to get admission in NITs, IITs and CFTIs, students need a valid JEE Main rank with 75% marks in Class 12.

The main qualifying requirements for candidates to sit in the NTA JEE test are as follows:

There are no minimum or maximum percentage requirements to take JEE Main. To get admitted to NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs, candidates must have 75% in class 12 in addition to a valid JEE Main rank.  
The candidate must have passed class 12 in 2022, 2023, or be scheduled to do so in 2024.
For Paper 1 (BTech), candidates must have Math and Physics as required subjects in class 12.
Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12 for Paper 2A (BArch), and Mathematics in class 12 for Paper 2B (BPlan).

NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. For session 2, NTA released application form on February 2.

Yes, Amity Gurugram provides direct admission to candidates fufiling the below-mentioned criteria:

• Candidates must pass Class 12 (CBSE/ ISC/ State Boards) with at least 80% aggregate for direct admission to UG courses. Aspirants eligible for direct admission get exemption from the entrance exam. Selection will be only on the basis of Amity Application Form
• Aspirants with at least 70 percentile in CAT/ MAT exam are eligible for direct admission to MBA course. Such candidates are exempted from entrance test and can directly come for GDPI round.
• Direct Admission will be offered to BA LLB, B.A. LL.B. (Hons), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons) and BCom LL.B. (Hons) based on CLAT score of 90 and above, subject to meeting the Minimum Eligibility Criteria prescribed for the programme.

NOTE: 1. Direct Admission based on Class 12% is not applicable for the programmes of Architecture / Design / Education/ Fine Arts / Fashion / Law and Physical Education.

Amity University Gurgaon admissions are open online for various courses. Since the application portal is live, candidates can apply online for their preferred course. APart from the UG and PG courses, the university also offers doctorate and Advanced Masters's level courses. Yes, it is possible to appear for CUET UG and get admission in college even if candidate gets a compartment in class 12th. However, such candidates will be given provisional admission in colleges. Students must make sure to appear for the compartment exam at given schedule and clear the examination and submit the required documents for verification at college on or before the last date.
