B.Tech admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in JEE Main for Punjab domicile candidates.
For the candidates belonging to other states, the admission to B.Tech is offered on the basis of marks in 10+2 followed by counselling conducted by PTU.

The candidate can register online on the official website to start the admission process or can come physically to the college campus and apply. Submit the application form after checking out the eligibility conditions. Make sure to fill the details correctly. If the result is awaited, then the status should reflect as result waited. The candidate has to get all the necessary documents and five passport size photographs. Duly filled admission form with all the documents to be submitted along with the mentioned fees. It is well known that CGC University are amongst the top colleges in northern India. So, you should not have any doubt to take admission here. Go for the admission and raise up your query by directly calling to the administration of the college. Its placement records are quite good.

Well, I see it is the most debated issue but both campuses have their own merits and demerits on the basis of following points. So you have to decide for yourself on the basis of the following points: ->Hostel :- CGC University can boast of hostel rooms being rather than landran campus,overall, the CGC University hostel has better bathroom,/water/gym/coomon room/mess facilities than Landran. ->Festivals/celebs/singers performing etc :- In my 2 years of experience i noticed that all the good singers come to CGC University and ditch landran ! ->Faculty :- As we compare both the campuses, Jhanjheri is still growing, all the faculity go to CGC University. ->Placements :- No doubts. More companies come to Landran but there is a joint placement drive and CGC University students also participate in it as well. ->Transportation :- CGC University is 7 km away from Landran, so you don't get a bus to Chandigarh directly from there. ->Small campus :- Its campus is rather small than Landran but libraries ,canteen and pool facilities are better in CGC University. That is what my observation is. Rest is up to you. I'm from the Landran campus by the way.
