Really one of the best central universities.
Placements: The placement record is not too good and very limited. Most core-science placements (like in R&D or chemical industries) are not widely available through campus. Some students may get opportunities through faculty referrals or collaborative projects.
Infrastructure: Food quality is average, but other hostel facilities are really awesome. Hostel staff and warden are very good and helpful. All rooms are well furnished, and in each room, 2 beds, 2 tables, and 2 chairs are available, and the quality is also good. Overall, the infrastructure is really good.
Faculty: The passing percentage is 40%, but all faculty are helpful. We can easily pass the semester and learn many things. The minimum passing marks in each course (paper) are 40% (both internal and external combined). The minimum CGPA to pass the programme is 5.00 out of 10 at the end of the final semester.

Review of CUSB - Central University of South Bihar.
Placements: The placement is not great; only a handful of recruiters come, and in that also, there is not always a guarantee they will recruit. If we talk about percent, then only 20% of the students are able to get campus placement, and the rest are left to deal on their own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure both in the department area as well as the hostel area is quite basic. There is not much new software or available modern amenities. Like new journals or e-resources are very limited; the food is also of average quality, and hostel rooms are available on a sharing basis.
Faculty: The faculty members are okay, but they are very limited to the class course and do not have much guidance or are approachable easily for taking career guidance. They try to teach nicely, but again, it becomes not that interactive. The passing rate is quite large with more than 95% of the students clearing.

Average college as per the fee structure.
Placements: Placements are very poor here, as the department of geology just started two years ago at this university. Internship is now included in the schedule, which might help students get placed somewhere as per their knowledge and experience in this subject.
Infrastructure: 24*7 Wi-Fi is available on campus, and the laboratory facility is improving day by day. Smart classrooms are available, and the library contains a few books on important topics in geology, but its infrastructure and facilities are also up to scratch. The canteen and hostel facilities are also above average.
Faculty: Helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable professors with good teaching experience. The course curriculum has been revised recently as per the future aspects. Semester exams are not very difficult; scoring good marks is easy for an attentive student. The passing percentage is also high.

Satisfied with faculty members and the laboratory but need improvement in every other field.
Placements: This department is new in this university, and it can take time to attract an on-campus placement cell, but one can do an internship in the best institutions like ONGC, Coal India, CIMFR, etc. Two students from the 1st batch got off-campus placements in the CIMF and Jharkhand Forest departments.
Infrastructure: This department is just 3 years old, and a good remote sensing lab, a mineralogy lab, and a palaeontology lab have been established in just these 3 years. Modern instruments for structural mapping are also available. The university organises cultural festivals and sports programmes from time to time.
Faculty: Good support of faculty members in academic as well as personal issues is provided. The course taught by them plays a very important role in preparing for higher examinations like UPSC, NTPC, CIPL, CIMFR, GSI, etc. Their marks in the semester exam were also excellent.

It's really a good university but need some improvement.
Placements: As it is a newly established Central University created under parliament Central University ACT 2009. So placement cell is under development. No much placement you can expect. But yes it develop it's infrastructure for placement cell. And now some company like utkarsh finance, vast vihar, Mahatma Gandhi fellowship etc. are continuously hiring the students.
Infrastructure: It is one of clean and highly developed campus in Bihar. It has area in 300 acre. Better road and infrastructure. High-speed Wi-Fi connection. Campus area under CCTV surveillance. High class laboratory and greenery campus. Campus area will not be disappointed.
Faculty: As usual like other Central universities. Course created under UGC ACT but yes need to remove some unusual part of course and addition of other usual papers. Semester system with continuous evaluation where we have 3 to 4 exams in a week. Faculty members are good and friendly in nature.
Other: Basically I am from Dept. Of Biotechnology and only Biotechnology dept has funded from different organisations like SERB, DST etc. So it is a rich department. Due to my session gone during corona pandemic we couldn't enjoyed big event like annual day etc. But yes we celebrated other event like Diwali, deepotsav, Holi etc. And now all students can celebrate all cultural events.

It is absolutely a good option for graduation and post-graduation.
Placements: There are no placements. Only internships are offered in our 4th semester. The college does not provide any placements. But they suggest some companies for us. We have to get placed on our own. You can do internships anywhere in India.
Infrastructure: The college has 24*7 free Wi-Fi. They don't take any charges for Wi-Fi. Computer labs are good and have AC and office chairs too. The classrooms have 2 types of seating arrangements, desks and chairs. The hostel has full time electricity and Wi-Fi. 3 times food is offered. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. They are from good colleges. The teaching quality is good. They know how to take a class. But some lecturers teach in Hindi, which is not good for South Indian students. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course on my own. This course is good. Scholarships are provided by the state government. Extracurricular activities are very few.
