Good faculty and placement is 100%, good environment for study .
Placements: In this course, there is about 100% placement. Salaries range from 35k to 45k per month, depending on the company, and may be higher. Salaries may also increase with time. About 44 students are in one batch for this course. Top roles include marketing, research and development, management, and more.
Infrastructure:
There are different labs for different subjects. The classrooms are very neat, with AC, and a library with many different books. Hostel, food, medical facilities, and games facilities are also good. Wi-Fi is available in the hostels and classrooms.
Faculty: Scientists taught us. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They taught us in detail. Exams are not that difficult. It depends on you and how you study. The course curriculum is relevant, and you can understand the syllabus easily.
Other: This course gives you detailed information about the anatomy of wood, its preservation, and much more.

Scientists & professors are very experienced.
Placements: Average package of 4 to 4.5 LPA. Min: 3.6 LPA and max : 5.5 LPA was offered by MNCs. 40% of the students were placed in WII, Carbon Check, WSP, S&P Global, GICIA, NCCF, Vision360 and TERI for internships & placements for auditors, consultants and research analysts.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, hostels are well maintained, Wi-Fi 24x7 available, library has the largest forestry related collection in India. Hostel mess is student-run. FRI's hospital provides medical facility & hosts Annual Sports meet and other curriculars.
Faculty: Scientists & professors are very experienced, encouraging and helpful. Course curriculum needs updation regularly for students to be industry ready. Semester exams are difficult and require extensive knowledge and research to answer questions asked.
Other: Its a once in a lifetime experience, a world in its own with the rich flora and fauna and a reserve forest in the campus. If you wish to pursue higher education from a reputed institution or want to further go into research in environment and forestry domains FRI is a great option. It is the perfect place to learn theoretical knowledge and see it happen/implement within your surroundings and also offers various opportunities to excel and placements to settle down for.

It provides good facilities and a placement cell.
Placements: 60% of the senior batch got placed from our college. The highest package was 11 LPA. The lowest package offered was around 3.5 to 4 LPA. The average package was between 5 and 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are HINDALCO, S&P Global, WSP, Launched Global, Greenipath, Gruner Renewable Energy, etc. 50% of the students got their internship cum placement in companies like Greenipath, Gruner Renewable Energy, Launched Global, IDCG, SECL and Cetizion Verifica. Top roles offered are ESG assessment, sustainability consulting, ESG reporting, carbon accounting, and GHG inventory management.
Infrastructure: The main FRI Museum is one of the top attractions for tourists in Dehradun. We have one of the biggest herbaria in India and a diverse and beautiful library (NFLIC). The classrooms and labs of our institute are also good. The facilities present in the hostel are average, as the infrastructure is old and needs various renovations. The quality of food is good, as for the whole week, the food from South to North is cooked. The sports and games activities on campus are limited. Medical facilities for students are free for their 2-year course programme.
Faculty: Every teacher in the course is a top professional in their subject. They are all helpful and informative at the highest quality. Many of the courses teach about concepts and roles that benefit the students for their careers in the various industries. E.g ESG, EIA, Green accounting, etc. Semester exams are moderate to hard on a difficult level. The passing percentage is 60%.
Other: I wanted to work in the field of sustainability, ESG and many more related fields, which can help in the betterment of the environment and provide a long, sustainable green economy. My course provides various studies of Green accounting, climate change, sustainability, EIA and how these studies work in the real world. There are some basic forestry courses in our course that are not very relevant to our course; they can be removed or improved. Our campus is a quiet place where people come in the early morning and in the evening to clear their minds and have a peaceful time.

Placements: Placements are 100% the highest salary offered are 7 Lacs per annum and the lowest are around 3 Lacs per annum. There are various industries thta come for placements like ITC, and other wood based industries. MNC also come for placements. Student do appli for internship as it's very important part of the curriculum. Roles offered varies from industry to industry.
Infrastructure: It's among the most beautiful campus in India with lavish greenery. Labs are well-equipped. Classroom are well furnished. Library is very good you will find wide range of books journals magazines related to course that they offer. Hostel, food are in very good quality. Sports events are conducted they have medical facilities that are available 24 hour.
Faculty: Faculty are all well qualified. The quality of teaching is very good they do give importance to everyone in class. They love to share there knowledge with students. The course curriculum is relevant with what the course is meant for. It do mkae students industry ready .
Other: The best thing about course is its practical part. I chose the course because I wanted to study about wood technology. Campuy crowd is very nice. Campus surrounding is green and clean.

I am satisfied with the college as it has good world-class infrastructure, faculty members, etc.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students get placed from our college. There is a wide scope in forest-based enterprise and IFS Indian Forest Service. The highest salary offered was of Rs. 80,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was of Rs. 20,000 per month and the average salary offered was above Rs. 15,000. About 85% of the students got internships in different companies like wood industry and ITC.
Infrastructure: Our college is well-equipped with all requirements like having Wi-Fi facility, 4 IT labs, each classroom is given a separate name, and every class have separate class and labs. A huge library is available on our campus. Hostel facilities provided are also very good. We have required quantity of food served in the canteen and mess as there are only 3,000 students. Sports and games are conducted daily in the evening. Medical facilities are very good as it is a very good college.
Faculty: Teaching quality in our college is very productive. They are holding their PhDs. The course curriculum is very relevant as per our requirement. Students will get more practical knowledge regarding all the activities in the forest, and definitely, they are ready for industrial purposes
Other: I am very interested in knowing about the forest, so I chose this course. The best part of the course is that we get more practical knowledge in the forest as we have many study tours to different forests. Our course is having all the requirements. Students are offered scholarships. The college also organises the annual day and cultural day.

It is an awesome college with world-class infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students got placed. There are many MNCs and research company for recruitment. M.Sc. in forestry and environmental science, almost everyone who got the internship in their respective fields were they wanted to do their internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are very good. The infrastructure is good. Lab facilities are good. The hostel facilities are superb. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. The mess is clean and hygienic. Sports facilities and medical facilities are good. Many extracurricular activities are conducted here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Everyone is NET qualified and possess a good experience. The courses are curriculum-related. It makes students industry-ready. They conduct many industrial visit.
Other: I have chosen this course because I always wanted to persuade something different rather than following others. This course is good and has the scope in future.
