Hello Priyanshi Sahu, computer science engineering either in any NIT or IIIT is always the first choice of almost all the students who have appeared for JEE mains examination. With very less number of seats and a large number of students fighting for IT results in a situation where one requires a very high percentile to get admission and as a result the cutoffs or set very high for almost every round of admission. At IIIT Hyderabad the cutoffs all the rounds are above percentile of 99. To help you I am attaching a link that will take you to an information page about various aspects of admission and cutoff of various rounds at this institute.

Yes, for Future. Especially if you are interested in doing research jobs or going aboard for higher studies. But if you want to look for immediate rewards, like programming jobs after graduations with fat salary, then you may feel that you have wasted your precious time in doing research which is not useful for programming jobs immediately. But if you look forward beyond 5 years from now than the skills you develop in the past years will be more useful in long run as programming skills may get outdated.
