Review of Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Rewa.

Placements: College has very poor placement facilities. This college doesn't provide any placements for students. Students need to prepare additionally for the other competitive exams to secure the future. The 4th year of the course has RAWE program which is of 6 months duration, where students get the regional agricultural working experience. They also get paid for the work. They get Rs. 3,000 per month which is in total Rs. 18,000. Since no such companies reach to provide any placement students need to pr...

I am fully satisfied and the college infrastructure.

Placements: Many top-notch companies offer placements, such as Bayer, Mahyco, Syngenta, Advanta, and many more. They give lucrative packages to students ranging from 5 LPA to 6 LPA. The major roles offered are Sales Manager and Research Associate. Among 150 students, 60% are placed each year, and the rest opt for competitive exams.

The overall campus life is not that great, and exams are moderate.

Placements: There are no such placement opportunities in this college. As an agriculture college, placements are not very strong. Most students come here only to earn a bachelor's degree and later pursue a master's degree, which is why placements are considered poor in this college.

A reputed college that lacks good infrastructure.

Placements: Only 10-15% were placed and rest moved for further studies. The maximum package offered was 6 LPA, and average placement was around 3lpa. The Bachelor degree does not have much of jobs, you have to do Masters. The majority of roles which offered were sales job after Bachelors.

The college is good for all cases.

Placements: The college pursued more than 60% of placements. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. All agriculture-based exams and all types of agriculture packages were available. It has been my pleasure to study here.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placement is good and even better. The highest package for PG was 4.5 LPA last year, while the lowest was 3 LPA. Companies like Rasi Seeds, JK Seeds, IFFCO, and Mahindra recruit here. About 30-40% of students are only interested in internships, and most of them got them. Some also secured government jobs like AO and AFO.

MSc & BSc students are given some facilities like PG/PhD class rooms, Econometrics lab, department library cum reading room, staff room, computers, LCD projector, data etc. The popular programme students are taught by expert faculty members. The faculty are PhD, diploma, & degree holders.
