KUK admission to entrance-based programmes is done through the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). KUK admission process for all the courses varies from course to course. Kurukshetra University invites applications for PG courses and the last date to apply is Aug 31. The University was expected to release the first merit list for UG and Integrated courses on Aug 22. KUK offers 175 courses on the campus in 47 departments/ institutes and through 282 affiliated colleges and institutes in seven districts of Haryana. The university also offers education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels via distance-learning mode through its Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University. Hope it helps.

The eligibility criteria of M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic) of KUK is given below.
Eligibility Conditions: B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry/ B.Sc. (Pass) with Chemistry as one of the major subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate or any other Examination recognized by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra as equivalent thereto.

The placements were quite good in Computer Science and Engineering. Around 90% of students have been placed and the placements are still going on so that all the students can be placed by the semester end. The roles offered were all related to IT field.

Hi I think it's a very good decision to do B.Sc. from KUK, for admission, you have to score 90% minimum in boards if you are from general category and if you are from some reserved category then definitely you get some relaxation. Sometimes B.Sc. PCM cutoffs goes more than 96% percent but you have to apply for the course sometimes if there is any vacant seat then may be you can get it.
