B.Tech. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2029

This is a decent tier-2 college with average placements and great campus life.
Placements: The placements in this college are average, though. For B.Tech CSE, the average package is 8 LPA-9 LPA, and also many students have been recruited by Infosys and TCS for low packages too. The highest package range is up to 35 LPA-40 LPA. The placement rate is good in this college, but the range of salaries varies.
Infrastructure: The hostel is too good but expensive compared to other colleges, and it has various food outlets in the college and hostel too. The sports facilities are really good, and there is also a great campus life in this college, as well as a hostel. I am really loving the campus life over here.
Faculty: The exams are done on an iPad, not on paper, and the gadget causes problems many times. That's a drawback, apart from that, the syllabus is good compared to other universities, and exams are not that tough either, but I feel the syllabus is too much to handle within such a short duration.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in biotech. This is really a good college for this course, and the faculty is good too. The college is too crowded this year, but it has a strong alumni network, too. This is a good college, but the fee is too much compared to other private colleges.

The college makes us industry-ready.
Learning Experience: The course covers all the topics related to being industry-ready. The university organizes many seminars to provide knowledge, there are many competitions organized for students, and many industry experts come for the lectures. The attendance policy is strict (75%), and the university provides good placement opportunities. The only con that the university has is its location.
Placements: College provides internship opportunities, but mainly they say to find it yourself, and the internship is mandatory. Currently, our placements season is in progress. Till now, 3 companies have come. The college has good placement opportunities. It depends on the students which package they can grab on the university side. They are doing their best.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The lectures are 50 minutes long, and the syllabus is covered systematically. They don't hurry or waste time, and hurry in the end, the marks are divided into 3 parts: the CWS, midterm, and end term. CWS is the combination of a PowerPoint presentation, assignments, some quizzes, and classroom attention, which is for 30 marks, the midterm is of 30 marks, and the end term is 40 marks, but the paper is made of 80 marks. Whatever marks you get will be divided by 2, and not all the exams are on an E-pad.
Course Support: The course makes us industry-ready, covers all the topics, and the university supports us in the best way possible. It is easy to pass the exams but difficult to score. Overall, the course will boost your confidence as the classes are interactive.

Manipal University Jaipur is the upcoming premier Institution of India.
Placements: Overall decent placements. Department of Law placements have started, and several leading law firms and chambers have been pleased to offer internships to the students. Competitive as almost every student has done some co curricular activities. As of now, mostly off campus placements.
Infrastructure: Excellent library and classrooms. Well equipped library with rare titles. There is a central library where you can get early sprint versions of very old books, which are practically extinct in the market. Well furnished athletic centers as well as well equipped gymnasium, football, basketball court, tennis court, swimming pool, table tennis, cricket ground, etc.
Faculty: Exam questions are analytical. The semesters are short, only 4 months of classes, and in the 5th month, we have our end terms. Midterms carry 30 marks, and the end term carries 80 marks, downscaled to 40 when the final calculation is worked out, along with assignments of 30 marks each subject.
Other: Great faculty. Scholarships are provided, which can go upto a full waiver of tuition fees.

A good college with some flaws.
Placements: Around 120 out of 150 were placed last year. The average salary is around 14 LPA as per as the documents I got last year. The highest salary is 1 crore, and average salary is 14.4 LPA for CSE alone, and 30 LPA for top 30% students. But for seniors the real average package is somewhere around 8 LPA - 9 LPA some say it's 6 LPA - 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has excellent infrastructure especially if you are going to live in the hostel facility of college GHS. The college is not that big. It has a main building called as dome building with library in it for B.Tech and other branches. We have 4 other blocks and 2 messes in total with many cafeterias around the college university. We also have a cricket ground with basketball court, badminton, and tennis court along with a football area. The infrastructure is excellent, to be precise.
Faculty: Teachers are good for many courses. For some courses, they are just bad like university keeps on introducing new courses every year. So most of the time, no teacher in university knows any of them, so they just watch youtube videos just like us before teaching us. While talking about exams, they are not constant for every course like CSE and data science. The exams are the hardest for AI, IT, IoT, CCE, and ECE, they are medium to easy.

The college has good infrastructure and good faculty!
Placements: 80-85% is the percentage of students getting placed in my course. The highest was above 50 LPA, and the lowest was, I think 20 LPA, according to the teachers. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Dell, Google, and Amazon. 95% of students got interships at Dell, Microsoft, etc. Top roles offered are cybersecurity, AI/ML, coding, and ethical hacking.
Infrastructure: The college has air-conditioned classrooms. The college has Wi-Fi, good and big libraries, good faculty, really high-tech computers in labs, and a lot of food canteens available. The rooms are really good and feel very high-end. The food is good. There are two types of meals, and medical service is provided.
Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, and knowledgeable, and most of them are Ph.D. qualified. The course is very relevant, and it does make the students industry-ready. It's not really difficult, if you study nicely, you need at least 35-40% to pass the exam.
Other: It's a good alternative to B. Teach. The best thing about my course is that it teaches you everything about the internet and the web, which keeps it interesting. Everything is good; the campus is really good, with a great crowd, and really good fests and many extracurricular activities.

A good college with few flaws.
Placements: I am currently pursuing my BCA from Manipal University, Jaipur, and I've heard the placements of each department are really good if you're ready to work hard and score a good CGPA. It depends on how you take things related to your academics, whether you are an average student or are here just for fun.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Manipal University has always been one of the best things, in my opinion. It looks so aesthetic and eye-pleasing, and the campus is also very clean and full of greenery. The infrastructure has an accent of Jaipur's royalty, and they have recently constructed very beautiful blocks of Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Bikaner.
Faculty: Teachers of BCA are amazing. They are supportive and helpful. I don't know much about other departments, but the BCA department faculty is really supportive and nice. They try to understand your problem and then solve your doubts regarding the topic.
Other: I chose BCA because the Department of Computer Science always fascinated me, and I wanted to dive deeper into the field of computers and gain much more knowledge about them. Talking about the events, I got to know that the events at Manipal are not very good and are of the average type; their main event is Onieros.
