OP Jindal University BSc is a bachelor's programme spread across five core specialisations. These specialisations are Physics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Data Science & Analytics. Apart from these, the university also offers a specialisation in Fashion Designing, which is subject to the approval of UGC/AICTE. The duration for all courses are same i.e., three years. OP Jindal University BSc course admissions are offered based on students performance in the qualifying examination. To begin, students must fill out the application form for the preferred BSc course. After the application stage, the admission committee starts the shortlisting process.

STEP 1: OP Jindal University BSc Application Process 2024
Applications for the BSc course can be submitted online and offline. The steps to be followed for each mode are as follows:
Online
Step 1: Visit the official website of OP Jindal University at https://www.opju.ac.in/BSc.
Step 2: Click on the 'Admission Open' banner at the bottom.
Step 3: Register and make a new candidature account.
Step 4: Fill out the application form.
Step 5: Pay the application fee. OP Jindal University BSc application fee 2024 is INR 1,000.
Step 6: Submit the form.
Offline: Those who wish to apply offline can download the application form available on the official website of the university. After taking a printout and filling it out, students must attach essential documents and a DD of INR 1,000 with it. Then, that application form is to be sent out to the admissions office of the university.
Note: Candidates of reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) of Chhattisgarh domicile and female candidates are exempted from the application fee.
STEP 2: Merit List Release
Once the application portal is closed, the university releases a merit list containing the names of shortlisted applicants. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list move to the counselling stage.
STEP 3: Seat Allotment via Counselling
The BSc seats are allocated in order of rank, as shown in the merit list and the university's seat intake. For each round of counselling, a fresh merit list is released.
STEP 4: Admission Confirmation
Candidates who are offered admission must report to the university xampus for verification and payment of fees. At the time of reporting, students are required to pay a fee of INR 10,000. Failure to pay the fees can result in cancellation of admission.
