No, direct admission for BA (Hons) course at Pandit Deendayal Energy University is not possible. Students need to sit and appear for entrance exam. The course admission is through entrance exam, i.e., Aptitude Test, Creative Writing + Personal Interview or SAT Score + Personal Interview. 

The overall placement rate for the 2023 drive stood at 90%. More than 100 companies visited the University campus during 2023 placements. Along with this, the BTech placement report is also released officially. Out of 818 BTech graduates, 383 were placed successfully and 354 students opted for higher studies. The highest package of Rs. 23.61 LPA from ONGC has been offered to 7 B.Tech Petroleum Engineering students.

Almost 80% of students got placed in college, and the rest 20% of students go for further studies like PhD or get a job by their own. The highest package offered is above INR 10 LPA, the average package is about INR 7-8 LPA, and the lowest package is around INR 5 LPA. Data scientist, data analytics, data manager, artificial intelligence, research, etc., roles are offered.

There is no limit to the number of times aspirants can take the SAT. Candidate can take the SAT as many times as like to appear for the exam. The exam gets conduct five times in a year, aspirants can start writing it from grade 8 and technically, a student has 25 attempts until class 12.

Candidate need to complete Class 12 or equivalent from any stream. In order to get admission at Pandit Deendayal Energy University course admissions the student need to meet the last educational qualifcation. The university offers BCom course BCom (Hons) in Finance and Accounts, BFSI & FinTech, Marketing & Management and Entrepreneurship & International Trade.

A total of 1,560 seats are available for BTech at Pandit Deendayal Energy University. The university offers two merit scholarships for MBA students for the school of SoM, PDEU. The first scholarship is known as merit cum means scholarships and merit scholarships with 50% tuition fee waiver, respectively. For both of the scholarship, the eligibility is national-based exam, i.e.,  MAT/XAT/ MAT/GMAC/ MAT/ AIMA.
