In addition to the UG and PG level programmes, PJTSAU offers three diploma courses to the students with a duration ranging between two to three years. All the diploma courses offered by the university or its affiliated colleges are in English medium. Final selection to diploma is subject to a valid score in POLYCET (under Agricultural stream conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Hyderabad).

PJTSAU Diploma Application Process 2022
Students seeking admission to Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University for Diploma must apply online on the official website (www.pjtsau.edu.in) after appearing for POLYCET test. A step-by-step procedure of application is mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website (www.pjtsau.edu.in) and fill out the application form.
Step 2: After filling out the completed application form, students can either download a copy or print the prospectus for future usage.
Step 3: Pay the application fee which is INR 1,100 for OC and BC category students and INR 600 for applicants belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories.
On successful completion of payment and submission of the online application form, the application number generated must be saved and used for future reference. Also, the application fee once paid is not refundable.

PJTSAU considers national or state-level entrance exams for admission. The university accepts TG EAPCET or ICAR CUET for admission to BSc and BTech programmes. For MTech, MBA and MSc courses, selection is based on ICAR AIEEA PG scores of the candidates.
PJTSAU admits students to its BSc programme based on students’ performance in EAMCET/ICAR UG exams. Thus it is mandatory for students to appear for either of the two prescribed exams. Moreover, in order to be eligible for applying for BSc courses, the student must have obtained minimum of 50 percent marks in Class 12 with English, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects. Eligible candidates further apply with their exam scores.
Based on the exam scores, the admission committee of the university prepares a rank list and shortlists students. Shortlisted students are successfully selected once they pay the prescribed fees.
Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University has constituted the SC/ST Cell to ensure the fulfilment of reservation for SC/STs in all matters. Dr.K.Suhasini, is the Officer in Charge of the SC/ST Cell at the University. There is no such reservation policy of the institute for general students.

- In case the admitted candidate cancels his or her seat before the closure of admission, an amount of INR 4,000 (General) and INR 2,000 (SC/ ST/ PwD) is collected as processing fee. The remainning fee already paid during admission is refunded.
- In case the admitted candidate cancels his or her seat after the closure of admission, the candidate lose the fee already paid (except the caution deposit). Additionally, he or she need to pay an amount of INR 10,000 (General) and INR 5,000 (SC/ ST/ PwD) towards processing fee.
