The best university.

Placements: Mostly almost, 50 percent of students got placed by the university. The highest package is twelve LPA and the lowest is one lakh. Various companies like Wipro, BV, TCS, and many more offer positions like teaching, manager HR, and many more. The best university.

Infrastructure: The university hostel provides various facilities like rooms, mess, library, reading rooms, and many more. It also takes care of student safety and hygiene. We have four hostels in the girls' hostel, each with almost a hundred rooms. They provide a home away from home.

Faculty: There are many curricular activities like games, sports, various competitions, as well as seminars and many more. Every department conducts its own guest lectures, seminars so that students can get knowledge of their subjects which is interconnected to various other subjects.

Other: I choose because I love my subject political science. I love the different aspects which I learn in this. I love the various sides of politics which it teaches me. I wish the syllabus I can improve the subjects I may increase to learn or I had the freedom to choose my optional subjects.

Review of Department of English, Shivaji University.

Placements: I passed out in the year 2017. The department is good. Recruitments are not good, and they will not offer you any placement for completing this course. But they will definitely guide you for your future career. They will guide you about the preparation of the SET or NET examinations or competitive examinations. But no companies offer a job for completing only an M.A. in English course.

Infrastructure: Our university has all facilities. Our college is accredited A grade by NAAC. Our college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, a canteen and a library. All things that are important for completing education is available here. The quality of the food served in the canteen is average, but they maintain hygiene. Our college conducts sports activities. It has a huge ground.

Faculty: Teachers quality is very great. Because they understand students better and limited number of students make their teaching good also. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready in terms of language part, but actual work is lacking here. Semester exams are good. It will really make out of you.

Other: I have chosen this course because this course will make you good at learning English literature, culture and how the English language is important in this era. So I definitely recommend others to join this college.

Very good facilities and faculties are there in the college.

Placements: My course was completed in 2022. This year, the lockdown was there so my exams were online. Job placements are available in our college. Campus interviews are taken by international companies and banks. Students are thankful for this opportunity. ICICI bank and State bank come for campus interviews to hire students.

Infrastructure: A laboratory is available for science students. Sports are available. Girls' hostel is available and good facilities too. If you choose this course, you will grow to like it.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is the best. Semester exams are held, and two exams are held every year. The pass percentage is 95%. The course curriculum is relevant. It will definitely students industry ready.

Other: I want to learn about our country's economic strategy, so I chose this course.

I am satisfied. I have enjoyed the time here with very good infrastructure.

Placements: I have distinction passed in MA. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 30,000 per month. Mankind and Pfizer offered jobs in our course. Various companies also offered jobs. Mostly, first-class students got internships from various companies. English is the top subject in our course.

Infrastructure: Our college is amazing, and Wi-Fi is available in our classrooms. The library is amazing. I enjoyed the time spend in our college. Our college is surrounded by various trees, and our college is huge. Laboratories and the cultural club are huge. Medical facilities are always available in our college.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-knowledgeable, and they supported students. They handle students very carefully. All our teachers are highly educated with masters in their subjects. I am very grateful because our teachers always help me in my bad conditions.

Other: I have enjoyed every moment. Early competitions are arranged, and I have continued winning in various games.

BOTH UNIVERSITIES are good options for BSc. However, if we talk about fees for the course, Fergusson College is cheaper than Shivaji University, where the tuition fee for a BSc starts from INR 2,900 to INR 47,400, and the tuition fee for a BSc at Fergusson College is INR 26,340.
