This college is good in the Purulia district.
Placements: About 140 seats, program course seats are 30-40, are available in this course. Approximately 90% of students are placed in our course. No packages are available in our colleges because these colleges are conducted by the government. No companies come for recruiting in our college.
Infrastructure: Clean college areas and classrooms. Good quality of food available in mess and hostel's ( college ), 4 hostels are here SCcaste hostel, STcaste hostel and OBC caste hostel and girls' Hotel. Medical facilities are good and near the college campus a football ground are here.
Faculty: Helpful teachers and their teaching quality are good. They only completed graduation level. The 1st-semester exam is the tough exam in this college because students are not sensitive to exams and many students failed. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: Due to my hobby and because of accounts subject I chose this course.

There are events happening every week which makes the college atmosphere very interesting.
Placements: TYL training programme from 1st year makes it very easy when it comes to the placements. The placement department team also brings in top companies for placements. I can say it is one of the best placement departments. Our college provides us good placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with good infrastructure facilities. The classrooms are well lit and ventilated. The food provided in the canteen is priced decently with a lot of choices to pick from along with an in-house CCD. The college has separate hostels for boys and girls.
Faculty: The college is affiliated to VTU. The semester end exams are conducted according to the VTU guidelines and the syllabus. The teachers here are very supportive and helpful. They motivate you to think out of the box.

It has good infrastructure, facilities, and professors.
Placements: Placements in this college are not that good. If you're from a course like B.A. Hons Economics or B.Com (Hons), then you'll be getting good jobs. The companies here are mostly on average and not that much higher. The average placement is between 4 LPA and 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is decent, and you will see that everything you need is available here. There is nothing so hyped and nothing so low in this college regarding the infrastructure. You can find all types of sports facilities, and the library is well-equipped with many good books. The one bad thing about this college is that you won't be getting a hostel in this college. The food in the canteen is good and hygiene is maintained.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is marvelous. The courses offered at J.K. College are very good and relevant. The course curriculum is a fractal-based semester in which the whole semester is divided into six fragments. Courses are also designed accordingly and are followed by our college.

Jagannath Kishore College is the main college in Purulia District.
Placements: The college does not provide placements although you get a degree honours course certificate from Sidho Kanho Birsha University. Our senior batch got a few placements in companies. The average salary offered by the companies were Rs.10000 to 14000. The roles offered were accountant and assistant accountant for the company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. It provides computer labs for commerce students. Also, there is a big library on the college campus, 24/7 CCTV camera facility for security purpose. The quality of classroom is good. The college has canteen facilities for all the students. The campus has 2 boys hostels and a big girls hostel. I didn't face any infrastructure related issue in my tenure at the college.
Faculty: The teachers of every department were well qualified and knowledgeable and very helpful for the students. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. The college also has B.A and B. SC courses for arts and science students. The course curriculum was useful. The college is under Sidho Kanho Birsha University.
Other: The college provides 2 fests every year. The college also provides games and separate common rooms for girls and boys. The college releases magazine every year. The college also provides NCC and NSS for the students.

Our college is the best, but not all teachers & government.
Placements: 45% of students get placed in my course. The basic offer is around 4 LPA after completing the degree. There are no top recruiting companies. We are mostly offered jobs related to accounts or similar roles. Only 1–2 percent of students get internships. The top roles are for CA or master’s degree holders. Most of us just pursue this to hide unemployment.
Infrastructure: We have everything like Wi-Fi, labs, NSS, NCC, classrooms, and a library, but students do not attend those classes. Only about 5 to 6% participate in sports, and another 10 to 15% study seriously for their degree. Many students just come for dating or to pass the time and don't even attend the classes.
Faculty: The teaching quality is mixed. Some teachers are really good, but some are very rude and act like they are the queens of the college. For example, I know a teacher who is offended by Bengali-speaking students. Her behavior suggests she thinks Bengalis are poor and nonsensical.
Other: I chose this college because of the degree, experience, and placements. Events are basically not organized. If some other department organizes them, they don’t want to include us. I received a first-year scholarship of Rs. 12,000, and that was it.

Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 81% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6.4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Dell, Wipro, Bajaj, Acer, Khaitan, etc. Almost 62.7% of students got internships in Wipro. Our college provides skill management courses. They offer some mandatory roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is impressive and suitable for students at all levels. Our college has Wi-Fi, a library, numerous spacious classrooms, Dolby speakers, etc. The hostel provides comfortable living arrangements with amenities such as Wi-Fi, well-maintained beds, and optional air-conditioned rooms. All facilities are well-equipped.
Faculty: Our professors had moderate qualifications. They are average. I had many unsolved problems in my studies. The course curriculum is not relevant. It does not adequately prepare all students for their semester exams. Semester exams are conducted in our college. They conduct external exams.
Other: Our college doesn't conduct sports and other curriculum activities.
