Our college is the best, but not all teachers & government.

Placements: 45% of students get placed in my course. The basic offer is around 4 LPA after completing the degree. There are no top recruiting companies. We are mostly offered jobs related to accounts or similar roles. Only 1–2 percent of students get internships. The top roles are for CA or master’s degree holders. Most of us just pursue this to hide unemployment.

Infrastructure: We have everything like Wi-Fi, labs, NSS, NCC, classrooms, and a library, but students do not attend those classes. Only about 5 to 6% participate in sports, and another 10 to 15% study seriously for their degree. Many students just come for dating or to pass the time and don't even attend the classes.

Faculty: The teaching quality is mixed. Some teachers are really good, but some are very rude and act like they are the queens of the college. For example, I know a teacher who is offended by Bengali-speaking students. Her behavior suggests she thinks Bengalis are poor and nonsensical.

Other: I chose this college because of the degree, experience, and placements. Events are basically not organized. If some other department organizes them, they don’t want to include us. I received a first-year scholarship of Rs. 12,000, and that was it.
