Balaji Institute of International Business offers a two-year full-time MBA course in four specialisations. Candidates need to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course. The eligibility criteria are:Be a graduate from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for the reserved category).Students currently in the final year of their graduation and confident of securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks may also apply for the MBA courses. The admissions committee may give more weight to higher marks at graduation.It is necessary that the candidate have taken at least one exam out of CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or MH-CET.For students seeking admission in the MBA programme in Finance, the preferred educational qualification is commerce. Students from other Science streams are discouraged. However, for Marketing specialisation in an MBA programme, students from any discipline can apply.

The selection to PhD course at Sri Balaji University is based on a valid score in SBUP-PET/ UGC NET (JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (JRF)/ SET/ GATE/ SLET followed by a personal interview round. Candidates with an MPhil degree are exempted from appearing for the entrance exam. 

Sri Balaji University Pune considers the scores of entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and MAH-CET for MBA admissions. Apart from this, SBUP also conducts the SBEST (Sri Balaji Entrance & Screening Test) for students who have not appeared for national/ state-level entrance exams or scored less in them.
