My experience at the university has been positive, with a strong balance of academics.
Placements: In a typical B.Com program, around 70-85 percent of students get placed. The highest package generally ranges from 8-12 LPA, and the average package ranges from 4-6 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 2.5-3 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank. Nearly 60-75 percent of students secure internships in firms like Deloitte, HDFC, and local financial consultancies. Top roles offered are finance associate, tax analyst, audit assistant, business development executive, and marketing analyst.
Infrastructure: It is good and hygienic. Sushant University boasts a Wi-Fi-enabled 14-acre campus with modern, air-conditioned classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a fully stocked library. Separate hostels for both boys and girls. Hostels offer furnished triple-sharing rooms, a dining/common area, and meal services. The campus includes a cafeteria, several canteens (with vegetarian options), and a variety of food outlets. There are extensive sports facilities, courts for basketball, tennis, volleyball, a cricket ground, and a football ground. Gym, transport shuttle, auditorium, along with basic medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good with a mix of lectures, presentations, and practical learning. The B.Com course curriculum is relevant and includes finance, accounting, taxation, and business subjects that help students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study and good attendance. Most students pass without major issues. The pass percentage usually ranges between 80-90 percent, depending on the subject and preparation.
Other: I chose B. Com because it builds a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and business. They are opening diverse career options. Best parts of the course are its practical approach, knowledgeable faculty members, and exposure to internships. Course could improve with more industry interactions, updated case studies, and advanced analytical tools. Campus hosts vibrant events and fests. It has an active crowd. Along with good extracurricular clubs, and decent connectivity. Surroundings are student-friendly. Scholarships are available, though expanding them and adding more skill-based workshops would make the experience even better.
