SVVU After 10th Diploma Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission Process, Important Dates

SVVU Tirupati After 10th Diploma application process is incomplete without submitting the prescribed fees. The fee for candidates belonging to the General and the Backward Caste Category is INR 880. For SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates, the application fee is INR 440. The mentioned amount is subject to change and hence is indicative. Application fee once paid is non-refundable under all circumstances. It can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net banking.

The merit lists for SVVU Tirupati After 10th Diploma admission are released on the university's official website. The university creates these lists based on the applicants' aggreagte marks or overall grade point in Class 10 or equivalent exams. The following points are considered while preparing the merit lists of selected candidates:

• In case two or more candidates attain same aggregate of marks (or) overall grade point, the scores in Science are taken into consideration
• In case two or more candidates attain same aggregate of marks (or) overall grade point in Science, the scores in Mathematics are taken into consideration 
• In case two or more candidates attain same aggregate of marks (or) overall grade point in Science & Mathematics, the marks in Social Studies shall be taken into consideration
• In case two or more candidates attain same aggregate of marks (or) overall grade point in Science, Mathematics and Social
  Studies, the candidate with higher date of birth (higher age) will be considered while making the merit list

SVVU Tirupati After 10th Diploma admission is subject to fulfilment of the course-specific eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirement for After 10th Diploma courses is for the applicants to have completed Class 10 from a recognised board. The age of candidates applying for admission should be between 15 and 22 years as of August of the year of admission.

SVVU Tirupati offers After 10th Diploma in two specialisations. These specialisations are Animal Husbandry and Fisheries. The duration of these courses is two years. Admission to these courses is granted to applicants who have completed Class 10 with the required aggregate as specified by the university. Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University has a record of closing off on rank 86577 in the AP EAMCET year 2024 for BTech in Dairy Technology General-Home State category. The same category for the same course closed off on rank 81904 in year 2023. The NEET last round closed off for General-All India category, on rank 126922 for courses such as Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH).

There is an entrance-based admission process for all Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University courses at the UG level, PG level, and research level.Candidates for UG courses must pass the state-level entrance examination, the AP EAMCET.As part of the PhD application process, candidates are also required to appear for a Personal Interview (PI). So admissions to Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University is based on entrance followed by PI which is mandatory for the students.

For the 85% local seats, the seats shall be allocated in 42 : 22 ratio in Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University area, respectively among the candidates in relation to the local area.

The Diploma in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry is a comprehensive program for 2 years providing medical care to animals and various other aspects of animal husbandry whereas  Diploma in Fishery provides comprehensive understanding of fishery science and management that equips students with the knowledge and skills required to provide medical care to animals and manage various aspects of animal husbandry. The cost of doing diploma in both the program is around 6200 for 1st year but I think diploma in Veternity Science and Animal husbandary is the best as it provide better placement opportunities and is in most demand.
