The same category for the same course closed off on rank 81904 in year 2023. The NEET last round closed off for General-All India category, on rank 126922 for courses such as Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH).

There is an entrance-based admission process for all Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University courses at the UG level, PG level, and research level.Candidates for UG courses must pass the state-level entrance examination, the AP EAMCET.As part of the PhD application process, candidates are also required to appear for a Personal Interview (PI). So admissions to Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University is based on entrance followed by PI which is mandatory for the students.

For the 85% local seats, the seats shall be allocated in 42 : 22 ratio in Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University area, respectively among the candidates in relation to the local area.

The Diploma in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry is a comprehensive program for 2 years providing medical care to animals and various other aspects of animal husbandry whereas  Diploma in Fishery provides comprehensive understanding of fishery science and management that equips students with the knowledge and skills required to provide medical care to animals and manage various aspects of animal husbandry. The cost of doing diploma in both the program is around 6200 for 1st year but I think diploma in Veternity Science and Animal husbandary is the best as it provide better placement opportunities and is in most demand.

Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University offers various Undergraduate (UG) programs with a basic criteria of 50 percent in 10+2 . It provides courses such as B.Sc, B.V.Sc and B.Tech and various Postgraduate (PG) programs  also such as M.Tech, MS, M.Sc and M.V.Sc.  It offers various Ph.D programs in different branches of Veterinary, Dairy and Fishery Sciences and selection in all the bachelors’ courses are done on the basis of an entrance examination of Andhra Pradesh called EAMCET.

The admission to Masters program will depend on the marks in Bachelors in Dairy which will be 30% of the total weightage and on performance in PG Entrance test which will be 70% of the total weightage. 

SVVU Tirupati offers After 10th Diploma in two specialisations. These specialisations are Animal Husbandry and Fisheries. The duration of these courses is two years. Admission to these courses is granted to applicants who have completed Class 10 with the required aggregate as specified by the university. Interested candidates can register for admission through the official SVVU website. The university released merit lists of selected candidates on the official website. 

Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University has wide recognition for its extension activities in veterinary, dairy technology and fishery sciences.
