It is a very good engineering college in Bihar.

Placements: You need to appear for JEE Main. You need a decent percentile to get into this college. Bhagalpur College of Engineering is a prestigious engineering college in Bihar. Overall, the Civil branch has a good placement rate. The maximum package is 13 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Every class has a digital smart board and an air-conditioned classroom. This college has a central library where students can study peacefully. Hostel food is satisfactory. This college has a large campus, which gives scope to those who are good at sports.

Faculty: Here, teachers are very supportive and helpful. Most students target GATE. There are many GATE rankers from this college, like AIR 112 in Computer Science. Many students opt for government jobs. Semester exams are very easy to crack. Anybody can get good marks if they study the specific topics.

Other: BCE Bhagalpur is one of the oldest colleges in Bihar. There is IIIT Bhagalpur besides this college.

Best college in Bhagalpur, Bihar.

Placements: 70% of students got placements right away after the final term. Top recruiters were from all over India. Most of my batchmates were still working in the companies that picked them through campus placements. The average package was around 3 LPA, I guess. The highest was around 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Most facilities were available, like Wi-Fi, smart boards, computer classes, and many more. The campus itself was very big. There was at least a distance of 100-150 meters between every department. The HOD and VC were good people. There was less corruption in this college compared to others in the city.

Faculty: Examinations were a bit late in every semester. Other than that, everything was excellent. Teachers were very friendly. Just one piece of advice. Do not get involved in student politics. There were some serious issues in this college. Students had raised several issues about ABVP and student politics.

Other: This course gave me several opportunities to appear for government exams.

Best college in Bihar. Placement is also good.

Placements: Overall, 40% of students get placed. The CSE and Fire Technology branches have higher placement rates. The highest package is 9 LPA, offered by TCS. The average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Federal Bank, and L&T. Paid internships are not available. Many students prepare for the GATE examination.

Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Classrooms are digital and well furnished. The library is small, with approximately 150 students able to sit. Hostel buildings are also good. The quality of food is good. Food is served three times a day.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and friendly. The teaching quality is also very good. The course curriculum is relevant. The college tries to make students industry-ready, but many students cannot focus on their studies. Semester exams are moderate. Students can easily pass by studying for 7 days.

Other: There are good job opportunities in CSE. A lot of fests are held in this college.

This college is not so good.

Placements: The placement rate of this college is very poor. No companies visit this college for placements. Students searching for placements on their own by giving interviews to do a job in companies. The college invites only companies like Sudha Dairy and Samvet for internships.

Infrastructure: Students of the BBA department have their own hall-sized classrooms with smart boards. They are well-furnished for only part 1 students. There is a lab for BBA students for performing lab activities, but some systems are not working well.

Faculty: Teachers of the BBA department are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, but the class runs for only 3 hours a day, which is not sufficient for the students to learn many things in college. Exams are too delayed.

Other: I chose the BBA course because I am interested in learning leadership qualities and starting my own company where I can give jobs to those who want.

Mount Shepherd, the college of commerce.

Placements: 70% of students are placed in my course. The top recruiting companies of my course are RUPI, HDFC Bank, etc. The highest package offered by my course is 15 LPA. 90% of students got internship on banks, warehouses, other good, fresh company etc.

Infrastructure: College Wi-Fi is fast and connectable for every student, and the labs are so good and clean. Classrooms are very clean and comfortable for all students. The hostel food is too good, and the canteen is clean. They maintain good quality. Medical facilities are also available in the college.

Faculty: Teachers are so helpful and friendly towards students. They are qualified and good persons and their teaching quality is so good. The semester exam in college is so easy, and 95% is the pass percentage. My college makes the students ready for companies and industry through industrial visits.

Other: My batch is so good and friendly. I am enjoying my college life with my friends. There are so many events and functions held every month.

College and hostel are good. The course gives knowledge but placements are not from the start.

Placements: Placement is not good. There is no support for placement. As you all know, everyone wants to succeed in their career after their graduation and if it is not happening the students will be sad and they feel that the problem exists in them but it is not.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure, of course and the hostel are good of course. Every hostel has clean bathrooms, clean beds, and plants. But it's not like a premium or very good hostel. Every hostel is good if there is full discipline. This hostel has, but because of some students, it is going to be bad.

Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams for your course are very good. We have learnt programming languages and learnt how to build websites, and much more. Exams happen without cheating. A strict teacher is present at the time of the exam. We have learnt data structure and algorithms, programming language C, and learnt how to build a website and Programming language C++, FoxPro, visual studio code, system analysis, and design.

Other: The campus and ambience is also very good.
