Q:   What is the latest cutoff information for MBA at United University?
A: 

To be eligible for an MBA at United University, candidates must have:

  • A bachelor's degree with at least 45% marks in BCA/B.Sc/B.Com/BA degree with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or the Graduation level 
  • There is a 5% relaxation in the total score for students belonging to reserved groups such as OBC, SC, and ST.

Please check the Shiksha website for more information. The general cut-off for CAT in UP is 99.99 percentile and MAT is 90+.

You need to have completed your graduation or must be in the final year of graduation. Your graduation score should be at least 50%. Students of reserved categories (SC and ST) get 5% relaxation in the percentage asked.

Q:   How can I get admission in United University BSc course?
A: 

To get admitted in United University BSc course, candidates must first qualify the eligbility criteria as per the specialisations. Eligible candidates must fill out the application form, that is available on the official website of the United University. While submitting the application form, candidates must pay the application fee. Once the application form is submitted, candidates are shortlisted based on their qualification. Shortlited candidates are allotted BA(Hons) seats for admission. Candidates must pay the United University BSc (Hons) fees of IINR 1.3 lakh - INR 5.7 lakh, to secure the seats. The course fees might include components other than the tuition fees. The fee information is sourced from the official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change.

Q:   Who is eligible for the BSc in Nursing at United University?
A: 

The United University offers BSc in Nursing as an undergraduate programme, lasting for four years. Admission to the BSc Nursing programme si subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. The minimum eligbility criteria is as follows:

  • Candidates must have a minimum age 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • Candidates must have minimum education of Class 12 with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
  • Candidates should be medicall fit.
  • Students appearing in Class  examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks are aslo eligible.

As per the Shiksha verified reviewer, "The course is very nicely prepared by skilled and experienced professors who are very supportive. The university is equipped with various facilities like WiFi labs, library, AC classrooms, and well-equipped labs with equipment. Hostels are nice and quite cost-friendly, available with 2 and 3 occupancy. There are a total of 4 canteens including a restaurant; the mess food is nice according to the charges taken. A gym is available, along with a running track and sports complex equipped with badminton courts, basketball courts, cricket ground, etc."

Faculty performance is subpar, with low placements. Institute is professional.
Placements: Our recent placements saw only 25% of students secure jobs, salaries ranging from 3 LPA to 7 LPA, averaging 4.3 LPA. Reliance hired 1 student. Most firms are start-ups. 90% of students got internships mostly at Kotak/HDFC Bank. Top role offered is BDE in Edtech (metro cities).
Infrastructure: Constant disruptions plagued the college experiencing frequent power cuts, dripping ACs, and pervasive Wi-Fi/cellular dead zones across much of the building. Food is merely average, and there are no college-promoted games. The library lacks proper air-conditioning, and college gate strictly closes at 9:05 PM, fostering a restrictive, school-like atmosphere.
Faculty: The teachers provided valuable assistance and support. However, the Head of Department and Deputy Head of the Department represented significant challenges. Their strict demeanor, coupled with a professional approach, led to reports being filled with the dean, yet no discernible action was ever taken.
Other: This university is incredibly stingy. They hinder student-led extracurriculars, even basic ones. Campus fest was a disaster, and our batch's "welcome" didn't happen until eight months after we started. It's truly disappointing.

Placements: Percentage of placed students is 65% in our college. This year the highest package goes to 12 Lacs and the lowest package goes to 3.5 Lacs. Companies like Hul, reliance, Bajaj, and HDFC hire. 90 percent of our class students get internships companies like Crompton, Kotak mahindra, Bajaj finserve etc. Roles offer by our course is Marketing, IT, Finance, Operation and production management.
Infrastructure: The MBA department at United University Prayagraj is well-equipped with modern facilities. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with Wi-Fi, projectors, and comfortable seating. The library has a comprehensive collection of books and journals. Computer labs are up-to-date, providing ample resources for research and coursework. The hostel offers clean, well-maintained rooms with basic amenities. The mess provides decent food, though it could be improved. The canteen serves additional snacks and beverages. Medical facilities include a basic health center on campus. Sports facilities are available for various activities, including cricket, basketball, and badminton.
Faculty: The faculty at United University Prayagraj is highly qualified, with most holding advanced degrees and having significant industry experience. They are supportive and knowledgeable, making the teaching quality very good. The MBA course curriculum is relevant and designed to be industry-oriented, which helps in preparing students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderate difficult, balancing theoretical knowledge with practical application. The pass percentage is around 90%, reflection the effectiveness of the curriculum and teaching methods.
Other: I am part of the MBA batch of 2023 at United University Prayagraj. I chose this MBA course for its comprehensive curriculum, experienced faculty, and strong placement support. The best features include the practical approach to learning, industry-oriented curriculum, and the supportive faculty. The opportunity to work on real-world projects and internships is a significant advantage. I would like to SEE improvements in the quality of hostel food and better infrastructure for certain facilities. The university hosts events like "Utsav" in February, which are great for networking and socializing. The campus is lively with a diverse student body. The university is well-connected by public transport. The campus is located in a pleasant area with good amenities nearby. Merit-based and need-based scholarships are available. There are numerous clubs and activities, enhancing the overall student experience.

Placements: At our college, almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata, Wipro, Mahindra, Byju's, Bajaj Finance, Shriram Finance, etc., visit our campus. Almost all students get internships at Google and Microsoft.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. The environment of the college is good. Labs are well-equipped. It is away from the city, so the environment is very green. The campus has lush greenery. The hostel is ragging-free. Our seniors are supportive. The quality of food in the mess is excellent. Wi-Fi is available 24X7.
Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. They have corporate knowledge. The pass percentage is 95%. Semester exams are easy.
Other: I chose this course because I completed my B.Com. I want to join the corporate world, so I have to do an MBA.

Bright future and bright education.
Placements: 95% of students got placed in my course. The highest average package was 18 LPA. The lowest average package was 4.5 LPA in my course. Top recruiting companies were HDFC, Reliance, and Airtel from my course. 96% of students got internships from my course at HDFC and Airtel. Top role offers as employers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was well and good. Facilities were so good and best. There was a well-stocked library. Computer lab and practical lab were available. Wi-Fi and canteen were also there. Campus environment was so good. Hostel facilities were available.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and guided us. They were very well-qualified and knowledgeable. They taught very well and tried to learn new things and clear all our doubts. Teachers were very friendly and their nature was so friendly. In my college, there was annual exam conducted. Faculty members were so good.
