Our college is better.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary is Rs.20,000, the lowest is Rs.10,000, and the average package offered is around the same. Around 60% of students get internships through our course, and the roles offered are in private jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library, which are good but not better than other colleges. There are no food facilities, no medical facilities, no sports or games facilities, and no hostel facilities. The conditions in our college are very bad.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very knowledgeable, but some are not helpful. Teachers are qualified. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, although the overall condition is very poor. Semester exams in this college are very difficult. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: The course is better than other courses because it is easy, which is the best thing about it. Practical aspects should be improved in the course. There are no events or fests. The campus crowd is very low. Only two scholarships are available. There are no extracurricular activities, and the overall conditions are very bad.

Placement is not as good as expected.
Placements: In my course, there are few chances to get a placement. Besides studying, you need to do something outside of study or do a part-time job. You also learn skills from somewhere else, so don’t rely only on this college placement. Do some extra work.
Infrastructure: Malda College's facilities are as good as other colleges. My department doesn’t have many features, but other classes/departments have many features like Wi-Fi fast enough for research and browsing. Labs are advanced, classrooms are old, and the best part is the library, it has air conditioning.
Faculty: In my course, teachers are helpful and always ready to help us. They have the best knowledge. Some teachers have only completed a Master’s degree, but most of them hold a Ph.D. degree in their subject. In my course, I have gained so much knowledge about everything in this world.

Kaliachak College is a good college. You can build your career from here easily.
Placements: 70% of students are doing this course. The highest package is Rs. 70,000 and the lowest is Rs. 30,000. Any student who gets good marks gets placement in companies. 50% above students get jobs after completing this course from our college. You can do this course and get job offers from good companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms of our college are so good and clean. Wi-Fi is also available. Labs are available for practicals. They have a big library which helps too much. In Kaliachak College all things are good. Canteen is so clean and the food quality is too good. There is a big field for sports inside the college.
Faculty: These college teachers are too good and friendly types. They help us too much with exam clearance. Their teaching quality is much better. Semester exams at this college are not too much hard. Pass percentage is 30% which can be achieved by any student easily.
Other: I chose this course because it's easy and it's a popular course. You can get many scholarship options that help you study.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Gangarampur College
2.2

We get admission at Gangarampur College to get the worst experience of graduation course.
Placements: It is a general college, and we can only get admission here to complete our degree. There are no placements of any kind here. If we need to get a job, then we should complete the course from here and not do any other course anywhere else, then think about placements here.
Infrastructure: There are hostel rooms, but the hostel service is completely closed. So if we want to study at this college, we have to travel by car every day. If students want to study from home every day, then they can take this college. However, if we want to study from a distance, we will have to rent a room.
Faculty: Many professors in this college prefer to relax and skip their classes. I myself completed my graduation from this college, but I did not have a class for a day. When I would ask professors to conduct classes, they would say that students are not coming, so they do not conduct classes. However, on days when all the students are coming, professors will not come. They would be absent. This may be the reason why the pass rate of students in this college is very low.
Other: I chose the Bachelor of Arts course to survive financially, but there are no classes in this college. They have no knowledge of any responsibility. Professors only put pressure on students by giving assignments before exams, and the class never goes smoothly.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2026
Offered by Malda College

The college is almost very good on many sides, though it also has bad sides.
Placements: Approximately 300 students are in our department. I'm in the English department, so there are no packages offered in my course. In courses like BCA and B.Sc., internship packages are available. But, our department has internships with Jio. We are recruited by Jio companies. Community outreach is also offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Though I don't stay in the hostel, I have listened to the hostel rules. There is a library in our college with several books available. Everyone can borrow books from the library by showing their ID card. The lab rooms are good, and many opportunities are available. Our canteen supplies healthy meals, and medical facilities are also available. Sports are very active in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very kind and helpful. They have a many knowledge, and each of them is highly qualified. Some of them are doing a Ph.D. This course and its teachers make us ready for the semester. Every semester is difficult and easy, everyone's opinion is different. For those who study hard, the semester exam is easy, and for those who don't, it is difficult. The pass percentage is approximately 70.
Other: I chose this course because I like this subject and want to know more and more about English, so I chose English Honours. Our departmental teachers are very active. They take our classes positively and don't miss any class. I wish the assignments could be better, and they could give us a bit amount of assignments. Our college arranges every event on our campus, and many people join those events. Many students hang out on campus during classes. Our college gives a scholarship personally to 4th to 6th-semester students who haven't applied for government or central government scholarships.

The facility is very less, but the teachers try to do well and teach more with fewer resources.
Placements: In my course, there were about 100 students. I gave around Rs 1 Lakh, and an offer came from Tata company. About 6 out of 30 of our students got placed. They gave me an offer too, and at first, I didn't mind and was not willing, but later I became willing, so I accepted it.
Infrastructure: No, our college does not have any facilities in the hostel, and we do not have any facilities like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth there. There is no computer, and no working computer either. We do not have a library, and we do not have any hostels. It should be, but it's not.
Faculty: Let's see how many students are still sitting after completing the course. A small percentage of students have succeeded. Honestly, it was very difficult to succeed in the batches. The course is very tough, and the college lacks infrastructure.
Other: Yes, I first thought that my hardship would be very easy, but after 3-4 semesters, I found it very difficult. As for scholarships, I first got a scholarship for 12 thousand rupees from Swami Vivekananda. Later, I got the SSC scholarship of 5000 rupees. Education needs to be improved.
