Just a proper package of knowledge and also centre for skill development.
Placements: Almost everyone secured job and if someone wants PG from other colleges, he/she also seeks for further studies. The highest package in private companies depends upon skills and knowledge; it goes approximately 80,000 to 90,000 in poultry sector and also in nutrition companies. Private veterinary clinics also provide 50,000 to 60,000 minimum and the lowest goes approximately 30,000. Veterinary officer post is also recruited and it's a government job. Its pay scale starting salary, following the 7th Pay Commission, has a pay scale of 56,100 to 1,77,500 (Level 10). In addition to the basic pay, they also receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House allowance.
Infrastructure: Everything is good, infrastructure is also good like library contains Wi-Fi facility for students and staff. Classrooms are modified smart classrooms available for better understanding. Hostels condition are good, proper food and light and water facilities are there.
Faculty: Faculty/teachers are outstanding, always supportive and knowledge booster. Course curriculum is relevant and helpful for students outside knowledge and for their further future perspectives. Semester exams are difficult but course is very much covered and explained by teachers in classroom, and you have to also read books for proper and better understanding.
Other: For serving the species and always loving creatures of this world. Also a very reputable and dignity job. I think people should treat a veterinary doctor equal to human doctor.

No of cases are many in the veterinary hospital having more scope for learning. VCI unsatisfactory.
Placements: No placement is seen in previous 5 years of my college duration from my college. The placement cell is kind of useless, that's just for name. It doesn't provide actual satisfactory job to a newcomer after the degree. The recruit is in some of the pharma, nutrition, or poultry and dairy companies.
Infrastructure: Average hostels. Girls hostel is better. Some are good, but rooms are in sharing. PG students & internship should get single rooms. No tennis/badminton court in hostel. No good parking area is available in hostel. The RO purifier & washing machines get disturbed from time to time.
Faculty: Faculty is okay & co-operative. Curriculum is unsatisfactory. Exam pattern is unsatisfactory. No session break is given in between the exams, and internship students get 33 rupees stipend for 9-5 duty at clinic (along with emergency duty, 24 hours availability of intern), which is shameful for a veterinary doctor. Whereas in other veterinary colleges, students get at least 20k minimum stipend in other states.

It is really a good college with good infrastructure and good placement.
Placements: Currently, there are 95 students in my batch. The highest package is 1.5 lakhs per month at Vantara, one of my seniors, while the lowest package is Rs. 45,000, and the average salary is Rs. 60,000. Almost 60 students complete internships every year and externships in different vet colleges. All poultry farm feed and teach companies visit our college.
Infrastructure: My college provides average to good facilities in both academics and hostel life. The infrastructure is decent, with well-maintained classrooms that are equipped with projectors and air conditioning. The average library and practical laboratories are very good, and Wi-Fi is available across the campus.
Faculty: One of the best aspects of this veterinary university is its faculty. All the teachers hold Ph.D. degrees in their subjects and have more than 20 years of experience. The courses are highly relevant to the livestock, fisheries, and poultry industries. Yes, they prepare students for industry compliance; the exam syllabus ranges from easy to hard, similar to NEET, with a passion percentage of about 97%.
Other: Veterinary Science is a course that truly connects me with my love for animals. It’s not just about treating sick animals, but also about understanding their needs, behavior, and how to keep them healthy. Through this course, we learn to care for both pets and farm animals, which plays an important role in society and even in public health. What I appreciate about Veterinary Science is that it combines practical skills with compassion. It gives me the chance to help animals who can’t speak for themselves and make a real difference in their lives.

The college environment is very positive and it is the best college in UP.

In this course, 60 students were selected from the exam, and after the exam, the college conducted counseling about the role offers from the companies, like dairy manager or livestock officer. The percentage of students who got an internship was 98%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is based on an old structure and looks so pretty. The environment of the campus is very positive and the classrooms are good. Wi-Fi and projectors are present. The hostel is good and the hostel to college distance is approximately 200 m. The hostel facilities are average .
Faculty: The teachers are good and the teaching staff are highly qualified from the best government and private colleges. This course is very relevant to our daily lives for animal treatment and management. This course helps to manage or learn the learn the basic treatment of animals. The passing percentage of the semester exam is 33% and the average student passes it at 95%.
Other: The course is good The campus environment is positive and very green. The pass-out batch is doing jobs or field work; the government provides scholarships; and the college provides extracurricular activities like yoga day celebrations, plant day celebration and freshers.

Life in DUVASU (best experience).
Placements: Placements are None in this course as this course is more research-oriented so students are selected in central university for higher education. Many students from my batch got selected for central university like JNU, BBAU, DU, NEHU, etc. Also, they cracked many national-level competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Laboratory facilities are a must-have for biotechnology students and this college provides the best laboratory facilities at the graduation level, which most colleges don't offer, even at the central level. Classes and labs are well-equipped with Wi-Fi facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best thing about this college. Faculty are well qualified and knowledgeable. Faculty members provide in-depth knowledge of the subjects to the students. The curriculum is also great as it provides knowledge of almost every subject of biotechnology.

It is one of the oldest and best veterinary colleges in India.
Placements: Our batch had 60 students. After graduation, many students joined GVK as veterinarians. A few students joined top institutes such as IVRI and NDRI. Many students were selected as veterinary officers in the UP government. Students also opted for civil service.
Infrastructure: It provided facilities like a mess, badminton court, gym, library, Wi-Fi, canteen, and medical facilities. The mess food was not that good. The canteen was fine. Classrooms were well ventilated. Labs were well-equipped with instruments. The caseload at clinics was very good.
Faculty: Faculty members were well-educated and experienced. Most of them graduated from prestigious veterinary institutes in India with huge experience and knowledge. Semester exams were tough to pass.
Other: They conducted extracurricular activities.
