The eligibility criteria for admission to VIT Bhopal for BTech in CSE (Cloud Computing and Automation) is as follows:
The candidate should have a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in their 10+2 examination.
The candidate should have a valid score in the VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination) or JEE Main/SAT.

VIT Bhopal is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The college requires candidates to have a recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum three-year duration in B.Sc(CS) / BCA / BSc(IT) with 60% or 1st class in qualifying examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects at graduate level / 10+2 level. Additionally, candidates should have a consistent record in X and XII Std, and a minimum aggregate of 60% or First class for MCA degree programme.

VIT Bhopal University is a private university and was established in 2017. The campus has a unique integrated 'Lecture and Laboratory' learning platform which is the blackboard-less classroom. It is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and has also started an initiative called VTOP or VTOP Bhopal which stands for VIT on Top.
