Reasons why you should not take admission here.
Placements: I doubt that there will be any placements in college. Internships were promised by the college but haven't started yet. There is no information about people who have been placed or have got in touch with the industry. There are no studio visits or anything that will help the students to understand what the industry demands and what they have to work on to be working in those studios.
Infrastructure: The new Hebbal infrastructure is pretty spacious and has rooms for many labs and equipment. But they shifted here in 2018, and still, the work is in progress. There is a room for a lot of improvements, but they are developing it slowly.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college change very frequently. They start your course, but may or may not be there by the time you finish it. The course curriculum is basic and totally not worth the money spent. Only theoretical knowledge is provided here. The college has a basic curriculum which is available on YouTube for free.
Other: The college doesn't organise any fests and extracurricular activities. Everything was promised but nothing is delivered. Connectivity is difficult, and it is shifted from Koramangala to Hebbal. There is no help with accommodation. The campus is just a building, and there is no place to chill with friends. The only thing to do is, go to college, waste time and leave.

A good college to opt for, if you are looking for an animation course.
Placements: It is a field where you will be placed based on your skills and not on the number of years you spend for the course. As we know animation, being a creative line. You'll be valued based on your out of the box visualisation. So, it's you who is responsible for your better placement.
But on the other hand, sometimes it is the college that is responsible for not being able to make you industry ready. Now, this could be due to various factors such as not having properly skilled faculty or lagging behind bringing the latest technology required. Nevertheless, speaking about Ipixio, this college has offered the best possible knowledge to its students to become industry ready. Today I'm working for an IT company as an executive motion graphic artist, getting paid an industry standard CTC. Thus not placed by the college but it is because of the guidance of Ipixio that made me eligible to hunt for a position on my own.
Infrastructure: The college might seem a small area. It is located on the first floor of a building. But it is equipped with all the amenities necessary. It is centrally air-conditioned. All the systems are well configured with licensed and latest software installed. The college also has an in-house studio.
Faculty: The faculty are available for all the courses. All the faculty are having a good knowledge of the subject they are teaching with a minimum of 7 years of industry experience and five years of teaching experience. The VFX faculty does genuinely have a good knowledge of the subject of what he is teaching. And the rest seems to be equally talented but haven't got a chance to interact much as they were not a part of the course that I opted.
Other: The college is located in a small building. It would be great if they can find a place somewhere else with more space. As it becomes difficult for the students commuting on their vehicle, and the college doesn't provide parking area. But however, the college might seem small as it is located on the 1st floor of a building. But it is equipped with all the necessary equipment required.
