Candidates appearing for the December session must adhere to the exam day guidelines to avoid any hassle on the day of the examination. Part A- CS Executive & Professional Programme Examination - General Instructions
Candidates must ensure to follow the below instructiosn to appear for CS Executive, Professional examination December 2025:
ICSI CS Admit Card 2025: Verification Checklist
After downloading the CS Executive/Professional admit card from icsi.edu, candidates must verify the following details:
- Full Name of Candidate
- Photograph and Signature
- Registration Number
- Stage and Module(s) Enrolled
- Examination Centre Name & Address
- Medium of Examination
- Dates and Timings of Exam
- Elective Subject (for Professional Programme – Old & New Syllabus)
- Paper-wise Exemption Details

Mandatory Documents on Exam Day
On the day of the exam, candidates must carry:
- ICSI Admit Card (printed copy)
- Student Identity Card, duly attested by authorised ICSI officials
If the identity card or admit card is missing a photo/signature, candidates must affix a photograph and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer/Principal of a recognised school/Manager of a Nationalised Bank. Alternatively, valid Government ID proofs like Passport, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Aadhaar, or Voter ID are acceptable.
Reporting Time and Entry Protocol
- Reach the exam centre well in advance to locate your room and seat.
- Entry is allowed 60 minutes before the exam begins.
- No entry after the first 60 minutes of exam start.
- Candidates must occupy only their allotted seats.
- Roll number and hall number will be displayed on the centre’s notice board.
Pre-Exam Requirements (New Syllabus Candidates)
Candidates under the 2022 New Syllabus must complete the pre-examination test for relevant modules. Non-compliance may result in disqualification during result processing.
Special Seating Arrangements
In case of medical reasons or emergencies requiring special seating:
- Submit a request to the Joint Secretary, Directorate of Examinations
- Include medical certificates or supporting documents
- No special arrangement will be allowed without prior approval from ICSI
Exemption Guidelines for CS Executive & Professional Exams
- Exemption is valid only if shown on the admit card and student login.
- Once cancelled by the student, exemption cannot be reinstated.
- If a candidate appears for a paper despite exemption, the exemption stands cancelled automatically.
- Exemptions based on the 60% criteria are interdependent—cancelling one may cancel all related exemptions.

Exam Language Medium
For candidates opting for Hindi Medium, English question papers with Hindi translations will be provided. Candidates must darken the ‘Hindi’ option on the answer sheet properly.

Prohibited Items in the Exam Hall
Candidates must NOT carry:
- Books, Notes, Chits
- Mobile Phones, Smartwatches, Bluetooth Devices
- Scientific or Programmable Calculators
- Electronic Gadgets of any kind
Violation of these rules will be treated as unfair means and may lead to strict disciplinary action.
Answer Writing and Stationery Guidelines
- Only blue/black ballpoint pens are allowed.
- Use a 12-digit basic calculator (battery-operated, noiseless, cordless, non-scientific).
- Clearly label rough work as “ROUGH WORK TO QUESTION NO. …” and score off properly.
- Write answers neatly, quoting relevant Acts/Rules/Case Laws where applicable.
- Write each new question on a fresh page and maintain margin lines.
- Do NOT write anything on the question paper except your roll number.
OMR Sheet & Barcode Instructions
- Paste the Roll Number Barcode Sticker from the attendance sheet onto the answer book.
- Fill roll number in words and figures and darken the OMR bubbles carefully.
- Candidates must sign attendance sheets daily after completing barcode placement.
During the Exam: Do's and Don'ts
- No candidate can leave:
- Within the first hour
- In the last 15 minutes
- Without submitting the answer book and signing the attendance sheet
- Follow question paper instructions strictly
- Attempt each question and sub-part sequentially
- Mark attempted question numbers (X) on the answer book cover sheet
Unfair Means Warning
Any attempt at:
- Copying
- Possessing unauthorised material
- Sharing questions on social media
- Communicating inside the hall
will result in immediate disciplinary action.

Only candidates who will fill the ICSI CS application form along with the payment of the application fee will be able to know the alloted exam centre when the admit card is released.
Autorities have released the list of ICSI CS exam centres. Check the list of the ICSI CS exam centres in the Eastern region of India: Bhagalpur, Kolkata Zone-I, Bhubaneswar I, Kolkata Zone-II, Bhubaneswar II, Kolkata Zone-III, Bokaro, Kolkata Zone-IV, Dhanbad, Patna, Guwahati, Ranchi, Hooghly, Rourkela, Howrah, Sambalpur, Imphal, Siliguri, and Jamshedpur.
Candidates will be able to enter the ICSI CS exam centre preferences while filling the ICSI CS enrollment form. The enrollment form window will open on February 26, 2026. Only candidates who have registered for ICSI CS Executive or CS Professional programme for June 2026 session will be able to fill the enrollment form.
On the day of the CS Executive examination, candidates must ensure to carry the following documents, failing which candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall:

Candidates must possess the ID card as downloaded from individual online accounts at support.icsi.edu and should be attested by the authorized official of the institute. However, candidates must get it attested by the Gazetted member/Officer of ICSI/Principal of a Recognized School/Manager of Nationalised Bank.
Part B- Instructions for OMR-Based Examination- For Examinees of Executive Programme

2. Test takers will be provided with the OMR answer sheet and question paper booklet. On the OMR sheet candidates must darken appropriate circles with the following details with the blue/black ballpoint pen only:
- 6 digit roll number
- Question paper booklet number
- Question paper booklet code
- Subject code and
- Exam centre code
3. Question paper for the following subjects will be provided in English language only:

4. Candidates must not open the seal of the question paper booklet before the specified time or until the invigilator asks to.
5. In case of any discrepancy in the question paper such as a total number of pages or language issue, candidates must report to the invigilator immediately.
6. Candidates must provide answers by darkening the appropriate option. Avoid darkening two options for 1 question, such responses will be marked the wrong answer.
7. Candidates must not mark anything on the question paper booklet.
8. Candidates will have no option to alter or change the OMR sheet once the option is darkened whether wrong or correct. Use of white/correction fluid, eraser, blade, etc. is not allowed on the OMR Answer Sheet.
9. Candidates must be careful while answering as there is a negative marking for each wrong answer.
10. Test takers must surrender the OMR answer sheet after each session.
11. Candidates will be allowed to bring a clipboard on which nothing has to be written.
NOTE: Infringement of any of these instructions shall render the candidates liable for disciplinary action which could lead to cancellation of results of the examination and/or studentship registration under the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982 as in force.
