No. Qualifying the examination only makes a candidate eligible for counselling. Admission depends on factors such as AIAPGET rank, category, choice of course and college, seat availability and the counselling round.

No. AIAPGET serves as the common entrance examination for admission to PG ASU & H courses for the 2026-27 academic session. AYUSH colleges and universities do not conduct a separate entrance examination for these courses.

Private AYUSH colleges can be part of the broader AIAPGET admission system. However, counselling for AIQ seats of private Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy institutes is conducted by the respective State/UT counselling authorities, not AACCC.

Unani recorded the highest General/EWS cutoff among the four streams in 2024. The minimum mark was 157. In 2025, this range shifted lower across most streams compared with the previous year.

No. NTA releases the AIAPGET cutoff only after the exam and result. AIAPGET 2026 is scheduled for 22 August 2026. Candidates can currently refer to the 2024 and 2025 trend only.

The AIAPGET 2025 cutoff for the General/EWS category in Ayurveda ranged from 101 to 381 marks. This differs slightly from the 2024 cutoff of 123 to 389 marks for the same category.

NTA usually sets a 50th percentile for General/EWS candidates and a 40th percentile for OBC, SC and ST. UR/EWS-PwD candidates need the 45th percentile. These percentiles are expected to stay similar for AIAPGET 2026.

The AIAPGET 2026 exam was scheduled for 22 August 2026. It was a computer-based test with 120 MCQs. Candidates got 2 hours to complete it. The exam covers Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha and Unani streams.
