AIPGMEE 2014 on November 25
Conducted by the National Board of Examinations at a national level, All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) is taken by aspirants seeking admission to 50% All India quota seats in MD/MS/Postgraduate diploma courses.
The exam is scheduled to be conducted on November 25, 2013 - December 6, 2013 (November 26 and 29, December 1 and 4 are non-testing days). However, the last date of registration for the exam has been extended from November 13, 2013 to November 18, 2013.

3 years - from the date of admission. Candidates are eligible for admission after completion of compulsory rotating internship. |

Eligibility:
- Aspirants must have an MBBS degree/Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from an institute (except for colleges and universities located in Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh) recognized as per the provisions of Indian Medical Council Act.
- He/She should also have a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification duly issued by MCI (Medical Council of India) or the State Medical Council.
- Aspirants must also have completed a yearlong internship or will complete it before March 31, 2014.
Exam pattern:
A computer based test, AIPGMEE 2014 will be a 3 hour 30 minute exam, however, students will be given an additional 15 minutes of tutorial time. The test will be conducted at 70 test centers in 38 cities across India.
The exam will encompass a total of 300 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and there will be no negative marking for any incorrect answers.
Application process:
- Aspirants can apply for the exam through the official website.
- The last date of registration for the exam was November 13, 2013 but has been extended to November 18, 2013.
- Students can avail the information bulletin/examination fee voucher from the selected branches of Axis Bank by paying:
Rs 3750/- for General/OBC category
Rs 2750/- for SC/ST/ PWD category
- After the same, a unique serial number will be available underneath the scratch panel in the voucher.
- The unique serial number will be required for the online registration and scheduling process on the website.
