IGNOU Registration Date 2020 Extended: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has again extended the last date for submission of admission forms and re-registration forms for the July 2020 cycle until September 15, 2020. The date has been extended considering the coronavirus pandemic situation in the country. Candidates who are yet to register or existing students who have not re-registered yet can do so now by logging onto the official website of IGNOU; i.e. ignou.ac.in. Earlier, the revised last date for submission of admission forms and re-registration forms was August 31.

For the 2020 July Session, the application timelines for IGNOU Registration 2020 and Re-registrations have been extended multiple times in the last few months owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The varsity had started the online registration process on June 6 which was to end on July 31. Later, it was extended until August 16 and then to August 31. The varsity has now offered a 15-day extension in the application timeline and allowed candidates to register themselves on or by September 15. IGNOU re-registration process which started on April 22 was also supposed to end on July 31, however, it was also extended subsequently.

Students who have not applied for admission or re-registration can apply following the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU, i.e. ignou.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on admissions

Step 3: A new page with input fields will open

Step 4: Register by entering the required credentials

Step 5: Fill the form, make payment
