IIT Kharagpur Admission 2021 begins for Masters in Medical Science & Technology (MMST) Program
Once the candidate completes the course successfully, s/he would be well equipped to fill the void that separates the medical sciences from advanced technology.
IIT Kharagpur Admissions 2021: School of Medical Science and Technology (SMST), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur commenced the admission application process for the 3 years, Masters, in Medical Science and Technology (MMST) Program for MBBS graduates. In order to apply for the programme, applicant must hold an MBBS Degree recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) with a minimum of 55% aggregate and should have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level (even as an additional subject) or from any recognized Open University. Once the candidate completes the course successfully, s/he would be well equipped to fill the void that separates the medical sciences from advanced technology.
Candidates interested in IIT Kharagpur Admissions 2021 can submit applications online at http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/mmst/. The last date to submit the application is March 20. Application Fee is Rs 1500/- for General/EWS/OBC Male/Transgender candidates and Rs 750/- for all Female or SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Selection will be based on the performance in the computer-based test of a 2-hour duration to be held at Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai on May 9, 2021 (Saturday). The test will have 120 questions, of which 75 questions will be from MBBS syllabi. The remaining questions are equally distributed to cover the syllabi of 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates are advised to answer only those questions they are completely sure about as each correct answer carries one mark and each wrong answer carries negative 0.25 marks.
