The University of Kerala or Kerala University is prepping up to release the Kerala University UG allotment result soon. The admission window for Undergraduate Programmes for the 2020-21 session ended on August 17 and the varsity is expected to release the first seat allotment list soon. The varsity will be releasing the list on its official website, i.e. keralauniversity.ac.in. Kerala University is one of the top-ranked state universities in the Ministry of Human Resource Development's (MHRD) NIRF 2020 Ranking. The Kerala University Admissions 2020 registration process has begun on July 21 on its official website.
The university runs a centralized allotment process for admission to UG courses in government, government-aided, self-financed colleges affiliated to the university. The varsity also ran a trial allotment on August 12, 2020.
Those candidates who will get the seat in the first allotment list will have to complete the admission process by paying a fee. Students can pay a fee or rearrange or delete higher options from August 18 to August 23. The second allotment list will be conducted on August 24 followed by a fee payment window until September 4. No further allotment lists will be released, as per the latest schedule. However, the date of the reopening of college has not been released so far by the varsity.
As per the University of Kerala prospectus, all the Undergraduate courses except B.P.Ed and BFA are known as first-degree programmes. Admission to these programmes is based on Online Centralised Allotment. The process will provide the candidates the opportunity of obtaining admission to any colleges or courses of choice. Seats will be allotted to students on the basis of merit of marks obtained in Class 12 Board Exams.
