Shiksha has launched a series of Career Tests for students to assess their capabilities before opting for a career. These Career Tests give unique career recommendations based on each student’s personality, aptitude, strength and interests. They help you in making the right choices about your subject combinations, courses and careers, thus providing clarity in decision making.

These tests are based on certain personality types, aptitude, motivations, interests & academic performance so you don’t have to prepare for these tests. You can take these test with a free mind like an online aptitude test. You don’t even need to complete the Test in one sitting. You can pause the Test if you want continue later. The only thing that you need to keep in mind is, once you have bought a Test you must complete it within 30 days of purchase.

 There are four Career Tests, which you can take viz. four important junctions of your academic journey from grade 8 to career choice.

  • Subject Stream Decisions (Recommended for Students in Grade 8 & 9)

  • Shiksha Career Tests determine the personality and aptitude of the student to recommend subject, course or career option
  • Each student can be categorized in one of the four profiles – Innovator, Builder, Communicator and Enabler
  • Shiksha Career Tests provide subject, course or career recommendation to the student on the basis of the profile that suits him/her the best
  • Shiksha Career Tests are quick and easy. Students can take these Tests from any device
  • Steps to take Shiksha Career Tests include – choosing a test from the dash board, sign up, take the test and download summary report and detailed report
  • Students can take only one Career Test at a time. They will have to complete the first Test to be able to start the subsequent Test
  • Each Shiksha Career Test priced at Rs 1,400 is being offered at a discounted price of Rs 980 (+ tax)
  • Students can take Shiksha Career Tests from one email ID only and only after payment of the Test fee
  • Once the payment is made, the amount will not be refunded under any condition
  • Most students complete the tests within 60 to 90 minutes

  • Career Test does not have to be completed in one sitting. If you choose to pause the Test (by closing the Career Test window), your responses will be auto-saved and you can resume the Test later
  • To resume the Test, you can login to your Shiksha account & go to the Career Test Page. You will be directed to question on which you paused the Test

  • Summary report and detailed report of the Test will be available for download within 2 hours of completion of the Test
  • The Shiksha Career Tests will expire after 30 days of payment. Thus, the candidates must complete the Test within 30 days of buying it
  • Students will be notified via email at every step of Shiksha Career Tests – from registration, payment pending/success, completion of test, reminder for completion of test, availability of downloadable reports
  • Shiksha has also created explanation videos for each Shiksha Career Test, to help students understand the process. They can view the Shiksha Career Test videos on the home page

Scenario 1: Student not registered and logged in on Shiksha website

  • Open the Shiksha Career Tests homepage
  • Click on 'Buy Career Test Now'
  • A pop-up will appear asking you to register on Shiksha
  • Enter details asked such as name, email ID, phone number to register
  • Once successfully registered, log in to buy the test
  • Select your grade according to your education level
  • Make payment of Rs 980 (+ tax) via debit/credit card or net banking
  • Upon successful payment, the Shiksha Career Test will open for you
  • Take the Test and submit

Scenario 2: Student registered but not logged in on Shiksha website

  • Open the Shiksha Career Tests homepage
  • Click on the Test of your choice
  • A pop-up will appear asking you to login on Shiksha
  • Enter login details to go to back to Shiksha Career Tests homepage
  • Click on the Test of your choice
  • Make payment of Rs 980 (+ tax) via debit/credit card or net banking
  • Upon successful payment, the Shiksha Career Test will open for you
  • Take the test and submit

The summary report and detailed report and subject, course or career recommendation will be available for download within 2 hours. You are ready to buy the next test in the series.
