Sree Dattha Group of Educational Institutions

Sree Dattha Group of Educational Institutions is a Telangana-based educational group with various higher education institutions located in Hyderabad and Mahaboobnagar. The journey of Sree Dattha Group of Educational Institutions began in 2001 with the establishment of Sree Dattha Institute of Engineering and Science. The institute was established under the Vyjayanthi Educational Society which was set up in the year 2000.

Currently, a total of six institutes are running under the aegis of the Sree Dattha Group of Educational Institutions and Vyjayanthi Educational Society:

Courses Offered at SDES

As stated above, SDES was established in 2001 at the Ibrahimpatnam campus. The institute is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Courses offered at Sree Dattha Institute of Engineering and Science include:

SDES Admission

Admission to the undergraduate (UG) programme is through the entrance exams conducted at a national level (JEE) and state level (TS EAMCET). Out of the sanctioned intake in a branch of Engineering, 70% of the seats are called Category-A seats or Convener seats. The remaining 30% of seats are called Category – B seats or Management Quota Seats.  The seats are going to fill by the Telangana State Higher Education Board in association with the University

The Sree Dattha Group of Institutions Integrated Campus was set up in 2010 and is located at Ibrahimpatnam. The campus is affiliated to JNUTH and recognised by AICTE. UG and PG courses offered at the campus are:

SDGI Admission

Admission to the UG courses is through the entrance exams conducted at a national level (JEE) and state level (EAMCET). The selection for PG MBA programme is based on entrance exam conducted by JNTUH through TSICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test) scores or CAT or MAT exams, followed by counselling.

SDGI Integrated Campus Placements

Similar to SDES, SDGI also provides placement assistance to students. Last year, close to 70 SDGI students were placed in different companies. Some of the companies that visited the campus and recruited students include:

Courses Offered at SDIP

The Sree Dattha Institute of Pharmacy commenced its operations in 2005. The institute is affiliated to JNUTH, recognised by AICTE and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The institute is located at the Ibrahimpatnam campus and offers the following courses:

SDIP Admission

The institute accepts AP EAMCET for admission to BPharm and PharmD programmes. The selection for MPharm is based on PGECET or GPAT score.

SDIP Placements

Every year, BPharm and PharmD students of Sree Dattha Institute of Pharmacy get placed in various reputed companies. Last year, about 46 BPharm and over 20 PharmD students got placed in various companies across Telangana. Some of the companies that recruited the Pharmacy students were:

Courses Offered at BITS

The Brindavan Institute of Teacher Education was founded in 2001 by Vyjayanthi Educational Society, Sree Dattha Group of Educational Institutions. The institute is affiliated to Osmania University (OU) and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is situated in the Ibrahimpatnam campus of the Group.

The Brindavan Institute of Teacher Education offers only one course to candidates – BEd.  

BITS Admission 

Students aspiring to pursue a BEd from BITS must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks from a recognised board. Admission is also based on performance in the TSEdCET entrance exam.
