- In 1990, Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust (GECT) was established and in 1998, Lalitha Degree College started offering BA, BSc, and BCom under GECT.

The new BTech courses are Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), Computer Science & Systems Engineering, Construction Technology & Management and Artificial Intelligence with Machine Learning. The eligibility for the course is Class 12 with 60% aggregate.

No, Anurag University does not offer direct admission. Admission to Anurag University is done either through an entrance test or merit in the qualifying exam:
