UPSC Civil Services Exam (Mains) application dates

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the dates for online filing of applications for the Civil Service (Mains) examination.

According to the notice posted on the website, "The DAF (CSM) will be available on the website of the Commission from August 20, 2013 till 11.59 PM on September 10, 2013," said a notice posted on UPSC website.

The notice further stated, “After submitting the DAF (CSM) duly filled in online, the candidates are required to take out a print out of the finally submitted DAF (CSM) separately and will have to send the printed copy of the DAF (CSM) duly signed by the candidates along with all relevant documents including the prescribed fees.”

Application has to be sent to – Under Secretary [CS(M)], Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 – latest by September 18, 2013. The envelope containing the print out of the DAF (CSM) submitted ONLINE should be super scribed “Application for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2013”.

The UPSC mains examination is scheduled to begin from December 1.

"No application under Right to Information Act (RTI) 2005 or otherwise will be entertained for procurement of marks, cut off marks and answer keys to the civil services preliminary examination," added the statement.
