Workshops in Arya Institute of Engineering and Technology

AIET encourages certified courses which promote learning new skills in a project and student also earns credit with a certificate at the end of a course.

Taking part in a workshop allows a student to gain a lot of academic experience. Apart from learning new things, by attending a workshop, students can also build new relationships, establish connections with people of close interests, get to know about the discussed topics and investigate their interests on a more personal and deeper level.

As there are many courses being offered by the Arya Institute of Engineering and Technology, course-oriented workshops become necessary. Though, there are general workshops too that are organised at the college, where any student can participate. Some popular workshops are mentioned below:

1. National Seminar on "Deep learning Based on Computer vision"

Date: September 20 to 24, 2019

Venue: Arya Institute of Engineering & Technology, India

Participants: The workshop was addressed to over 200 students and faculty members from AIET, Rajasthan. Following were the topics discussed during the workshop,

Workshop Content:

Deep Learning: Deep learning is mostly used in image recognition software, self-driving technology and incorporated in pattern and speech recognition software.

Role of Deep Learning in Computer Vision: Computer vision is a sub-field of AI that covets to make computer systems process and understand the contents of the data contained within images or videos and extract some meaning out of them. Deep learning closes the gap between one of its goals, which is, AI.

2. Workshop on "Python Technology"

Date: June 16 to 20, 2019

Venue: Arya Institute of Engineering & Technology, India

Participants: The workshop was addressed to over 200 students and faculty members of AIET. Students of nearby colleges were also present in the workshop. 

Workshop Content: Following were the topics that were discussed during the workshop:

- Python has garnered its image as the cult language for data science enthusiasts to use the language for complex statistical models, data visualisations, analysing data, and completing other data-related tasks.

- As Python has a large developer community, it is also one of the most popular languages on the market. It is also a highly reliable and efficient language. Python is also in demand because of its universality in various previous non-computing fields.

3. Workshop on "Recent trends in the field of Power Electronics’"

Date: October 18, 2018

Venue: Arya Institute of Engineering & Technology, India

Participants: Organised by AIET and Nitin Gupta, the workshop was addressed to over 200 students and the students of nearby colleges were also present at the workshop.

Workshop Content: Following were the topics discussed during the workshop,

- Semiconductor: Though silicon-based power devices will still have a long life, the market is beginning to embrace the benefits in terms of performance and cost a silicon carbide can provide. Plus, the availability of clean energy (solar, wind, etc) and distribution (Smart Grid) would help completely eliminate vehicles' carbon footprint to zero emissions.

- Flex Power-Modules: DC/DC converts function at the frequencies of 0.3 MHz to 3 MHz for high efficiency. The drawback of low operating frequency is it might require large input and output Inductor/Capacitor components to achieve a minimum response.

4. Seminar on "Insights of Cloud Computing & AWS"

Date: April 20, 2020

Venue: Online

Participants: The workshop was addressed to over 400 students and the students of nearby colleges were also present in the workshop.

Workshop Content: Some topics discussed during the workshop are:

- The major reason for incorporating AWS is its flexibility. With its dynamic infrastructure, there’s no limit to its usability.

- AWS provides so many options to choose the preferred OS, web app platform, programming language and so much more
