CGPA is a measure of academic performance that takes into account the grades earned in each course over a specified period of time. There's a general process that is followed in Jaypee University of Information Technology:  Students obtaining grades A (+) to D, shall be declared pass. Students failing in the subject will be awarded F grade. The grades shall be decided on the aggregate of evaluation of all Three written tests, T-1 (15 marks), T-2 (25 marks), End Semester Exam (35 marks) ; Assignments Quizzes, homework and regularly in attendance etc. ; Practical and Projects. A numerical value, known as Grade Points, is assigned to each letter grade which makes the SGPA (per semester) and the average of all SGPA's is calculated which is declared as the overall CGPA.
