The last date to apply for JKCET 2026 was April 3, 2026. JKCET Registration 2026 started on March 19. Interested candidates can apply online from the website jkbopee.gov.in.
The entrance test is based on the courses of study and syllabus of the 12th class.
As per the marking scheme of JKCET, 1 marks is awarded for each correct answer and for ecach wrong answer, 0.25 marks is deducted. Each 3 section of the question paper has 60 questions and has mamximum 60 marks. Maximum marks is thus 180.
JKCET is held annually, that is once a year. Jammu and KashmirCommon Entrance Test (JKCET) is a pen and paper based state level entrance exam. The exam is conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) to fill up the UG engineering seats offered in various government and private institutes in J&K.
In JKCET, candidates have to attempt Multiple-Choice Questions. JKCET is held in offline, pen and paper based mode in english language only. The entrance test is based on the courses of study and syllabi of the 12th class. JKCET exam will have 1 paper that will have 3 sections - Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Eavh section will have 60 questions of marks each. The total marks in the paper is 180 and the total questions are 180.
