The entrance test is based on the courses of study and syllabus of the 12th class.
As per the marking scheme of JKCET, 1 marks is awarded for each correct answer and for ecach wrong answer, 0.25 marks is deducted. Each 3 section of the question paper has 60 questions and has mamximum 60 marks. Maximum marks is thus 180.
JKCET 2026 result was announced on May 6, 2026. Candidates can check JKCET merit list from the website. Qualified candidates will be able to participate in the counselling process.
JKCET will have questions from Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates can download the syllabus from the official website for preparation.
The JKCET 2026 counselling registration for round 2 was open from June 12 to 15. For round 1, the registration was open from May 25 to 28. An additional round of counselling is likely to be held, only in case of seats that remain vacant.
