What is JKCET?
JKCET stands for Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test, conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE). Candidates striving for admission to BE/BTech programme in the government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir can register for JKCET. After qualifying for JKCET, candidates will become eligible for admission to various courses under BE/BTech like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering.

JKCET 2023 Admit Card
The admission authority issues the JKCET admit card 2023 after the application process is over. Candidates can download admit card of JKCET 2023 in online mode only. To download the admit card, they will need login credentials like username and password. Details regarding the exam date, venue, timings and more will be available on the admit card.
JKCET 2023 Syllabus
The authorities will release the JKCET syllabus 2023 online. The subjects, topics and units that have to be studied for the entrance exam will be released through the JKCET syllabus. JKCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Meeting the eligibility criteria to apply for JKCET 2023 is very essential as the applications of non-eligible candidates will not be accepted. Candidates can read the JKCET eligibility criteria below:
- Candidates should be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir as defined in section 6 of the Constitution of the Jammu & Kashmir State.
- They must have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or any equivalent examination from a recognized Institute with at least 50% (40% for reserved category).
- Candidates should have completed 17 years as of December 31, 2023.
- Candidates who are going to appear in the Class 12 examination in 2023 can also apply for the JKCET.
Note: There is no upper age bar for appearing in the JKCET 2023 for admission to Engineering Courses, both in Government and Private Colleges.

JKCET 2023 Answer Key
Candidates will be able to access the JKCET answer key 2023 after the exam is over. The correct answers to the question paper will be available in the answer key. Candidates can make representation, if any, against any question in the required format within a period of three working days.
JKCET 2023 Result
The scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination will be released through the JKCET result 2023. After the result is released, the JKCET merit list will be prepared on the inter-se merit acquired by students in the exam (in descending order for Open Merit Category and for each Reserved Category, separately). Qualified candidates will be able to participate in the counselling process.
