B.Tech Colleges accepting UPTAC in India

AKTU releases the UPTAC counselling application form is the online mode only on the official website of UPTAC counselling - uptac.samarth.edu.in.  Eligible candidates have to register for UPTAC to participate in the counselling process for admission to various first-year and second-year UG courses offered by all institutions affiliated/constituent to AKTU and other state universities.

No, there is no form correction facility in UPTAC counselling. Before final submission of the form, candidates should check all details in the form.

For Btech admisison in UPTAC counselling:

• Candidates need at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of reserved category) in the following subjects taken together: Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.

OR

Candidates must have passed minimum 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of reserved category).

The UPTAC counselling registration fee is INR 1000. The candidates pay the application fee online using modes like net banking/debit card/credit card.

The NTA has released the exam dates for the JEE Main 2026 Session 2. Paper 1 (BE/ BTech) will be administered between April 2, 2026 to April 9, 2026. ABES Engineering College BTech students will be charged different amounts of hostel fees based on their chosen accomodation as well as gender. Minimum hostel fees for BTech students is INR 1.36 lakh.
