HBSE 10th Results 2020 not to be declared today, here's why it's delayed

The Haryana Board decided to release the HBSE 10^th Results 2020 only after the conduction of the Science paper.

The Haryana Board of School Education Haryana (HBSE) was supposed to release the HBSE 10th Results 2020 today i.e. on June 8. However, yesterday late night the board decided to postpone the release of HBSE 10^th results until July. The Haryana Board also revealed that the HBSE 10^th Results 2020 would be released only after the Science paper is conducted. The news regarding the cancellation of the release of the HBSE 10^th results 2020 is confirmed by the Board's chairman, Jagbir Singh.

HBSE 10^th Results 2020 not releasing today!

This news would disappoint lakhs of students who were expected to check their Haryana 10^th board exam results today. The Haryana Board earlier stated that the class 10th results would be released on June 8 on the official website bseh.org.in. The board, allegedly, took a U-turn on its decision after the government intervened. It was earlier decided that the Haryana board would release HBSE 10^th Results 2020 only for the subjects for which the 10^th board exams were conducted before the imposition of the COVID-19 lockdown.  

HBSE Class 10 students, please be informed that the pending examination for science would be conducted in July by Haryana Board. Earlier the board had informed it's decision to grade the students and award them average marks for the science paper which was postponed due to coronavirus. Now, the 10^th board results would be announced only after the Science paper is conducted. 

Also, not all students need to appear for the science examination. According to the official statement, only the students who wish to take up the science stream (PCM or PCB) need appear for the science examination. Other students, who wish to improve their score, may appear for the examination as well in July. According to an official notification released by HBSE, the pending papers for HBSE 10^th Board Exams 2020 and HBSE 12^th Board Exams 2020 would be conducted from July 1 to July 15, 2020. Haryana Board declared that revised HBSE 10^th Date Sheet 2020 and HBSE 12^th Date Sheet 2020 will be released 10 days prior to the conduction of HBSE 10^th Board Exams 2020 and HBSE 12^th Exams 2020. According to the HBSE 10^th Date Sheet 2020 and HBSE 12^th Date Sheet 2020 released earlier, the HBSE Class 10 exams were scheduled between March 4 and March 27 and the 12th board exams for HBSE were scheduled between March 3 and March 31.

For the time being, 10^th board results 2020 for all the students would not be announced. There is no update on the Haryana Open School, HOS results, which are also usually released by HBSE along with the class 10 results for regular students. The examinations were conducted alongside regular students in March 2020.

However, the HBSE 12th Results 2020 will be released after the conduction of the HBSE 12th Board Exams 2020 for Banking and Automobile, Chemistry, Computer Science, Public Administrator, Geography, ITIS, History, Life Science, Agriculture, Psychology, Sanskrit, Urdu, Biotechnology, Political Science, Hindustani Music, Philosophy, Sociology or Entrepreneurship, Stenographer, IT and ITES.
