Karnataka Board has now postponed both theory and practical examinations amid the second COVID wave.

 

The Karnataka Education Minister S Suresh Kumar has announced that the Kar 2nd PUC exams have been postponed in view of the surge in COVID cases. He also announced that the 1st PUC students will be promoted to the next grade without examinations. Moreover, all the teachers will now be working from home due to rising coronavirus cases in the state.

A few days back, the Karnataka government had postponed the Karnataka Class 12 board practical exams 2021. The practical exams for Class 12 students in Karnataka were scheduled to commence from 28 April but had to be deferred. The 2nd PUC exams were scheduled to be held between May 24 and June 16, 2021. The revised Karnataka 2nd PUC Time Table 2021 will be released on the official KSEEB website. Students must keep checking the same for any official update.

Earlier, Karnataka had announced summer vacations for school students in Classes 1 to 8 from May 1. All the state schools will remain closed throughout the period of summer vacations.

Meanwhile, Karnataka on May 3 reported 44,438 Covid-19 cases and 239 deaths, taking the total caseload and fatalities to 16.46 lakh and 16,250 respectively, according to the data released by the health department.
