‘People NEXT’ – Exec program to build HR leaders

Gurgaon-based School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL) launched 'People NEXT' to build and nurture the HR leadership in the country, specifically by developing mid-level HR leaders who can envision, design and facilitate deployment of people strategies and practices for organisational growth.

This is an eight-month program with three contact modules of one week each (every quarter). Each participant will undergo personal coaching and mentoring by a member of the steering group and shall take up action learning projects within their organisations, for customised and live application of learning.

The steering group includes prominent industry leaders such as Dr Aquil Busrai, ex-ED-HR, IBM Corporation, R R Nair, ex-HR director- HUL, P Dwarkanath, director – Group, Human Capital of Max India Limited, Ravi Bhoothalingam, ex-president, Oberoi Group of Hotels, Shyam Viswanathan, ex-associate dean-Executive Education at ISB-Hyderabad, among others.

The first batch of this program has participants from leading companies of the country such as Kohler India, Maruti Suzuki, Dabur India, Vodafone India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Gulf Oil Corporation, HCL Technologies, Coca Cola India, etc. People NEXT is SOIL’s second executive education program after Emerging Leader Booster Program (ELBP) which was launched in 2011. ELBP is an executive program (part time) for high potential business leaders who have been identified for higher responsibilities in their organisation.

Recently, SOIL had also launched 'HR Learning Lab' to train students into work-ready professionals
