Ammini College of Engineering made me as who I am.

Placements: In our college, top companies gathered and placed around 90% of students and others opted for higher studies. They offered a salary of Rs.30000 to Rs.70000 per month. Roles offered were supervisor, engineer, working staff, planning supervisor, drawing plans, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college had a good infrastructure and well-maintained labs, transportation, etc. Labs were specialised with new generation equipment but tools were of old models. Hostels were maintained very neatly and food supplies were also very hygienic. Libraries had many books and references. We would say that it's India's Oxford dictionary.

Faculty: Our college had good faculty members and their knowledge was extraordinary. Teachers were helpful and all were atleast M.Tech graduates. Explanations were very easy to understand. They provided notes, pdf, etc., which were very helpful to students. Students studied all theories practically with relevant information and experiences. So exams were very easy to perform.

I am satisfied with the college as it has good teaching quality, facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: B tech in computer science and engineering is a course which has a lot of opportunities in the entire world. This college is not well in the placement section, a lot of companies are not coming to this college as a part of placements. Even though students are getting placed through placements in this college.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in the computer science department are excellent. The entire building has Wi-Fi access. There are many labs for many purposes such as networking lab, data structures lab, etc. Library is common to all branches. The hostel quality is average.

Faculty: Teachers in our department are well educated. They all have good knowledge about their subjects, and they know how to teach that. All the teachers and lab staff have good knowledge. Semester exams are not easy but an average student can easily pass.

I'm feeling great that I've studied from this college.

Placements: Our college assures 100% placements. Every year, our college organises a job fest for many students to get jobs. They not only provide jobs to the students of our college but also to the students of other colleges through open campus placements. As the college is providing GATE coaching for every student, students can easily score well in GATE.

Infrastructure: Our college has a very good infrastructure with facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, fully digitalised classrooms, very good medical facilities with first aid kit, etc. Even sports and games facilities are fantastic. I would rate our college 5 out of 5. I will recommend this college to all my friends.

Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are well-qualified from reputed colleges and institutions of the country. They have great knowledge in the subjects that they are handling. The most important thing to be noted about our faculty members is that they provide notes related to subjects.

Other: The college provides all sorts of extracurricular activities.

A college which focuses primarily on academics, and a good choice in Palakkad District.

Placements: The chance of getting placements in the core field by studying in private colleges has become very less. The same issue applies to my college also. It is a private engineering college, and the placement records are not good here. The students have to find jobs on their own. However, the college has been trying to improve this condition by conducting mock interviews.

Infrastructure: Ammini College of Engineering is located on a 13-acre rural campus. It is at a distance of 17 KM from Palakkad District, Kerala. The college has three blocks, electrical engineering block, mechanical engineering block, and the main block. The lab facility is good, and the college has an excellent library. The quality of food available in the college canteen is very good. The hostel provides accommodation to 300 students. No, I didn't face any infrastructure related issues.

Faculty: The teachers are very supportive, and they have enough subject knowledge, and they are very experienced. The college gives primary importance to academics. The faculty doesn't compromise on the quality of teaching. The teachers have a master's degree in engineering. Sadly, there is only little industrial exposure for the students. The course curriculum is knowledge-oriented.

Other: The college life is very much enjoyable. Students can spend a memorable four years of their life here. There will be an Onam celebration and arts festival, which happens every year in our college. The campus provides scholarship schemes for eligible students. A national service scheme unit is active in our college, which conducts activities to produce socially responsible professional students.

Really good faculty, Highly recommended.

Placements: Talking about placements in top multinational companies of the world and companies related to the Engineering field, I was truly disappointed with the opportunities that I got. The companies which visited the college was either marketing or call centres. Most of the students were not provided any placement when they completed the course. There was no internship provided by the college. A placement cell is active in the college but it needs to improve the amount of opportunities provided for the students studying a professional course such as Engineering.

Infrastructure: Ammini college of engineering is located on a 13 acre rural campus. It is situated at a distance of 17 Km from Palakkad city. The college offers B.Tech courses in 5 branches of Engineering (60 seats each). It has mainly 3 blocks in which the 5 Engineering departments are divided. There is also a buliding for the Library and main Computer lab. The classrooms are spacious and are comfortable. The atmosphere here is peaceful which is ideal for learning process. Classrooms are equipped with basic electrical equipments such as Fan, Light etc. The hostel is near to the college campus. Seperate hostel buildings for boys and girls are provided. The hostel accommodation capacity is 300 students. Wi-Fi facility is available but it is restricted for the students. The laboratories are good and have necessary equipments. The quality of food available in the college canteen is very good. It provides homely food. I did not face any problems with the infrastructure.

Faculty: The college is AICTE approved. It is affiliated to the University of Calicut and KTU. The faculty here are very supportive and friendly. I studied in the Electronics engineering department and the quality of staff in that department is very good. They are helpful to us and are knowledgeable about the subjects. Teaching methods include theoretical approaches as well as hands on experiences. The student to faculty ratio is 15.1. Sadly, we did not get enough industry exposure. All that was provided by the college was an industrial visit in the last year. The course curriculum is very useful in improving the students knowledge.

Other: Life of an Engineering student is very different from those of others. They go through a lot of stress due to the hardwork they have to deliver. In such a condition, festivals and celebrations are needed just to relax ourselves. The college is rich in those things. A arts festival named Genex is conducted every year in our college. It is a platform for showcasing our artistic talents. It also gives beautiful memories. Onam celebration is another important celebration in our college. Onam celebration takes the college atmosphere to a whole new level. A national service scheme unit is active in our college which conducts socially relevant seminars and conferences. They are also helpful in building a socially responsible professional. Scholarship schemes of the government is made available to the eligible students.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: The placement cell in our college is active. However, it is in its starting phase. Most of the interviews conducted are off-campus drives. The placements for my batch are average. A placement drive was conducted, this year, in association with the State Employment Exchange. Companies like Axis bank, Esaf Bank, Popular Finance etc., visited our college to offer placements. The roles offered to students were entry-level positions with a salary package varying from R%s. 1,20,000 INR to 2,00,000 INR per annum. Our college provides internships. Most of them are without stipend.

Infrastructure: The campus has four sections in which 5 engineering departments are present. The classrooms are good with the facilities of lighting and fans. The library is an average one with a decent amount of study materials but lacks the research-oriented materials. Quality of labs is good. Our college provides a hostel nearby. Both the college campus and hostel are Wi-Fi enabled. The first-aid facility is available on the campus. Quality of food available in the canteen is very good. It offers delicious and homely food. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my tenure.

Faculty: The faculty in electrical and electronics engineering department are below par. They are qualified in academics, but they cannot transfer their knowledge to the students. The internal marks are given in such a way that shows the partiality of teachers. This is the major problem which needs to be rectified. The teachers need to improve their attitude. There was no industrial exposure. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. The course curriculum was very useful.

Other: An arts festival named Genex is conducted in our college every year. Tech fests are also conducted every year which really helps an engineering student to showcase their talent. A sports event is also conducted in our college every year. The government provides scholarship schemes like Minority Means scholarship and the scholarship for SC and ST students. The national service scheme unit is active in the college.
