Acharya Institute of Health Sciences has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: Courses Eligibility UG Diploma The candidate should have attained the minimum age of 15 years as on 31st December prior to the year of admission. The upper age limit would be 35 years. In the case of in-service, SC & ST candidates upper age limit would be 40 years. M.Sc. Candidate must have a minimum of one year of experience in any hospital or in a nursing educational institution or in a community health center. No experience needed for candidates with post-basic B Sc Nursing degree. Registered with State Council as a registered nurse and registered midwife. MPT Candidates must have passed BPT/ B.Sc. in Physiotherapy from a recognised University are eligible. BPT The candidate who has passed with 50% marks in a three-year Diploma in Physiotherapy after 10th is also eligible for the course. B.Sc. Candidates who have passed a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology after 10th or O Level from any recognised board/university are also eligible to apply. MHA Candidate must have Graduation with the above-mentioned marks in any discipline from any recognised University.

Completely satisfied, provide standard education.

Placements: It helps to build leadership, more effective teaching and through knowledge about roles of ateacger/ guide/ administrative. Most of the students get work with renound corporate hospitals like columbia asian, fortis and many more. Internship is not required in the M.Sc. Clinical posting provided in NIMHANS.

Infrastructure: Library is well equipped with books by national and international authors. Journals are available. Classrooms are well ventilated. Labs are present. Wi-Fi no but computer lab available. Students can use it for study purposes. Hostel available for female candidates. Mess attached (only breakfast, lunch & dinner), near by many shops are available so student can access it for their own food choices. Food is average. Medical facility available at baptist hospital & near by polyclinica by self-payment methods.

Faculty: All teachers are specialised with master degree in nursing and few holds Ph.D. teachers are very helpful. Curriculum prescribed by INC and well suited if you are planning to grow in nursing profession further. Helps the student to learn proper methods of teaching. As research is a partial criteria of the curriculum, it help the nurses to become good researcher. A master degree is definitely going to boost the career towards administrative roles in various colleges and hospitals.

Other: I chose Acharya for its commitment to maintain standard education in this area. Teachers are very helpful.
