Absolutely satisfied because of faculty. They teach and care about students.
Placements: As zoology is the first batch in the college, I don't know much about placements. After B.Sc in zoology, students tend to go for a master's. So placements are not much needed. If a student wants to join a research company, the college faculty will help you with the research papers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good with unlimited water, food, and Wi-Fi. All seniors and juniors are respectful of you. We have to know how to be responsible and respectful. The is no problem with safety and sanitation if students behave themselves, follow the rules, and maintain discipline.
Faculty: My Padmashree Group of Institution College is an excellent choice for students pursuing zoology. Faculty members are exceptional, not only imparting knowledge but also helping students develop problem-solving skills. Although the college degree holds significant value, one drawback is the lack of a dedicated zoology practical lab, which is shared with students from other disciplines like genetics and biotechnology. Overall, it is a great institution for students to acquire knowledge and life skills, thanks to the outstanding teachers.
Other: I chose zoology because I love to study animals and want a job related to surrounding with animals.

My experience is average.
Placements: For B.Sc., there is no placement opportunity, and there are no proper placement or internship facilities. They might help with it to find one but for that, we have to be behind teachers, so don't expect any placement from this college. Best of luck guys.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is fine. We get Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are decent but for the practical part chemicals and equipment are not proper. Campus is environment friendly but away from the city. Hostel is average but the food is not good. Hostel cost is Rs. 6,000, for 2 sharing.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very nice. Many teachers are Ph.D. holders, and they provide proper notes too. Course curriculum is relevant but it does not make students industrial-ready. Semester exam is average in difficulty level and we can easily pass.
Other: I chose this course out of my interest but got into this college because of covid admission problem. In another college, my course is biotechnology and it's an emerging field. Theory part is good but for the practical part, they don't have proper instruments for some experiments. There are events about sciences, like celebrations of different days. Fest are rare. They do not provide scholarships but they assist students, if they are eligible.

My college review for you.
Placements: There are 70 students in my course. This course provides job opportunities abroad, but internships are limited to our hospital for one year. There are not many laboratory facilities available, and we cannot go outside the hospital for internships. We have to pay for our internships and there is no stipend.
Infrastructure: The facilities are present but not well-taught. The library is excellent—calm and quiet. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, but Wi-Fi is not available. There are five labs: Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Physiology, and Anatomy. The mess is neat and clean, but the food is not that good.
Faculty: Some teachers are not very helpful. Although they are qualified, they do not know how to teach effectively. The course curriculum is not very difficult, and studying it is manageable if you pay attention. Exams are not hard if you study well; you can score good marks.

It is a good college with really good infrastructure.
Placements: D. Pharm course offered minimum of Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000 per month or even more as per the knowledge and skills of a pharmacist. In our batch, 60 students were there. This course was good enough for all types of students. It was an easy and evergreen course because people need more advice.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good enough in our college. We had all the library and journals in our college. Wi-Fi network was also available. Digital library was available for those students who needed to work on computers.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were literally very good.
Other: I chose this course because it is an evergreen course. We need to get well soon for any illness, this needs a pharmacist's advice more for providing better information about the better health services. To get more information about all drugs, I chose this course.

It was a good opportunity to study in my college and to get good clinical exposure at JSS Hospital.
Placements: There were 100 students in our batch, and we have completed our 4 years of college life. There was no recruitment. For the 4 years in 2019, it was 700,000 without food and accommodation for boys. Now the fees have increased, and I enjoyed the college life.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was basic; it was an old hospital building, but the training in the new hospital with 1800 beds was an amazing experience. It made us work in all departments and have got clinical experience. The faculty was also good, and overall it was good.
Faculty: We were having yearly exams, and it was good. The faculty was also good, we enjoyed it, but sometimes the university would change the exam strategies and mark distribution. It made it difficult for us, and we were not able to know it early, so it was a difficult situation.

Q:   How can candidates join RGUHS - Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences?

A:

To join RGUHS, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for the course they wish to pursue. The eligibility criteria vary depending on the course, but generally require candidates to have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum percentage of marks.

Once the candidate has met the eligibility criteria, they can apply for admission to RGUHS through the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The CEE is held for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) medical and dental courses.

For admission to other UG and PG courses, candidates can apply directly to the colleges affiliated to RGUHS. Some courses may also require candidates to appear for a separate entrance examination conducted by the college.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how candidates can join RGUHS:

Check the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to pursue. This information can be found on the RGUHS website.

Register for the CEE if you are applying for admission to a UG or PG medical or dental course. The registration process is conducted online through the KEA website.

Appear for the CEE. The CEE is held annually in May.

If you are shortlisted based on your performance in the CEE, you will be invited to participate in the counseling process. The counseling process is conducted by the KEA.

If you are allotted a seat in a college affiliated to RGUHS, you will need to submit the required documents and pay the admission fee.

For admission to other UG and PG courses, candidates can follow these steps:

Check the eligibility criteria for the course you wish to pursue. This information can be found on the website of the college to which you are applying.

Download and fill out the application form. The application form can be found on the college website.

Attach the required documents and submit the application form to the college.

If you are shortlisted based on your performance in the qualifying examination, you will be invited to participate in the counseling process. The counseling process is conducted by the college.

If you are allotted a seat in the college, you will need to submit the required documents and pay the admission fee.

International students can also apply for admission to RGUHS. However, they will need to obtain an eligibility certificate from the university before they can apply to any of the colleges affiliated to RGUHS.

To obtain an eligibility certificate, international students must:

Download and fill out the application form for eligibility certificate of foreign/NRI/SAARC category.

Pay the required application fee.

Submit the application form and required documents to the university.

Once the university has received the application form and required documents, they will process the application and issue an eligibility certificate to the student.

International students can then apply for admission to RGUHS colleges directly. The admission process for international students is similar to the admission process for Indian students.
