My college has good infrastructure and has been awarded for excellence in teaching.
Placements: Anand Institute of Higher Technology has a training and placement cell to guide students in career opportunities. They conduct training programs and employment-bridging courses. For placement, it conducts on-campus recruitment processes. The institute has an unmatched placement record. The average package offered to the students is 2.5 LPA. In 2024, 48 companies participated in AIHT Campus Placement, and 481 students were placed. The placement session for 2023–2024 is still running, with 167 offers already received by the students.
Infrastructure: My college has good infrastructure and has good hostel facilities. The food in the mess is average. Toilets are clean and hygienic. All classrooms are clean and good, and libraries have many collections of books. 4 students per room in the hostel, and floors will be allotted based on the year to which student belongs.
Faculty: AIHT is a proud owner of over 200 brilliant faculty members. Most of the faculty members here are Ph.D. holders. Moreover, they are very kind and generous. They always help students and guide them in any possible way. The founder of the Anand Institute of Higher Technology is Kalvivallal Shri. T. Kalasalingam.
Other: The institute offers scholarships in coordination with the BC/MBC Welfare Board, the Minority Welfare Board, the SC/ST Welfare Board, and the Labor Department.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2025

A decent college experience with average placements and basic facilities.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed from our batch. The highest package is around 6 LPA, the lowest around 2.5 LPA, and the average package hovered near 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant were the top recruiters. Some students also got internship opportunities at startups and mid-size firms. The top roles offered were software developer, analyst, and technical support engineer. While placement support exists, there is scope for better industry tie-ups and dedicated training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, with good Wi-Fi connectivity, functional labs, and well-maintained classrooms. The hostel facilities are average; rooms are compact but manageable. The mess food is not great, mostly repetitive, and not always hygienic. Medical facilities were available on the campus. There were regular sports events and a playground, but indoor game options were limited. The library had a moderate collection of books and was a quiet place to study. Overall, the basic infrastructure is fine but not exceptional.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful and qualified, though not all teachers are equally engaging. The curriculum was okay but a bit outdated in some areas. It lacked hands-on, industry-oriented training. Semester exams were moderately difficult; most students passed with consistent effort. The pass percentage was around 85%. More focus on projects and case studies could improve student preparedness. Some subjects were purely theory-based, which made them less interesting.
Other: I chose this course because of my deep interest in the subject and the reputation of the college in this field. The best part about the course was the well-structured syllabus and the availability of basic academic resources. However, improvements can be made in terms of practical exposure, internships, and lab access. The college hosts annual fests and cultural events, which are engaging. Campus connectivity is decent, and the crowd is diverse and friendly. Scholarships are available for merit students, and extracurricular activities are encouraged.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

A perfect college for education.
Placements: Around 75% of students have gotten placed in companies like TCS, Zoho, L&T, and other popular companies. They also train us in interview skills. The average package is about 8 LPA in the CSE department. They offer many more companies if you have the required skills with you.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good, but the infrastructure of the college is quite impressive. All facilities are well-maintained. The college contains all the required labs with Wi-Fi connections, and classrooms are neat. The library has all sorts of books. Food is available in the canteen, and for hostel students, there is a separate mess with hygienic food.
Faculty: The college has well-qualified staff and teachers with good knowledge. The curriculum available in our college includes CSE, ECE, Bio Tech, EEE, Mech, MBA, and Architecture, both at UG and PG levels. There is no difficulty in exams because the faculty provides clear exam-oriented questions, allowing us to score a good percentage.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. They are always available to help us. The maintenance is average. Many workers clean the campus.
Faculty: A few faculty members are well-experienced. They are approachable. Many faculty members are new. They follow Anna University. The course curriculum is updated with new regulations. They should provide practical knowledge.
Other: Our college gives initiate charities for struggling students and extra credentials to first graduates.

Faculty: Faculty members for the course are generally well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Most professors hold advanced degrees and have a solid grasp of their subjects. They are helpful when approached and often encourage student participation, though the teaching quality can vary slightly depending on the department. The curriculum is fairly relevant and provides a strong theoretical foundation, with some efforts towards integrating practical and industry-related content. However, to be fully industry-ready, students are encouraged to pursue internships and additional skill-based certifications alongside the course.
Other: I pursued a bachelor's degree in [B.Tech. in Information Technology] as part of the [2025] batch. I chose this course because of my strong interest in the subject and its growing relevance in today's job market. The best aspects of the course include a well-structured curriculum, supportive faculty members, and the opportunities it offers for both academic and personal development. However, I feel the course could be improved with more practical exposure, such as industry tie-ups, updated lab facilities, and hands-on projects. Campus life is vibrant, with regular events, fests, and extracurricular activities that help students unwind and showcase their talents.
