Friendly teachers and a good environment to study.
Placements: Nearly 50% of students have a chance to do internships. Our students got placed in placement drives with an average salary package of 3,10,000 per year. Most of the newly started companies actively hire fresh graduates of our college. At least 70% of students get placed every year.
Infrastructure: Laboratories have a limited number of systems and facilities. We need to bring our laptops during practical exams. Our administration notes all the requirements that are needed and asks for funds from the government to resolve such issues. Culturals are conducted once a year.
Faculty: Two shifts of students are studying in our college. Also, students are divided into two or more classes when they have higher strength considering the concern of students. All our teachers are friendly with us. They encourage us to achieve a lot.

Need to show concentration on academics.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities in software companies. Most of the companies that came for placement were start-ups. The companies with a maximum package of 3.1 lakhs came for placements. Other students preferred to do post-graduation courses after course completion.
Infrastructure: We must wear uniforms daily; if we fail to wear uniforms, we must pay a fine. We were suspended from college for violating its rules. In laboratories, we don't have sufficient facilities so we face a lot of problems during practical exams.
Faculty: During exams we have strict invigilation and we were banned from examinations as we were involved in any of the malpractices or suspicious activities. We only asked to pay the examination fee. And the teachers were experienced in their work for more than a year.

Not satisfied with academics.
Placements: Placements are very average; our staff won't take any responsibility for students getting placed. They only motivate students who want to secure placements themselves after course completion and recommend such students for job offers.
Infrastructure: There are very minimal facilities present in our college. There is no proper transportation facility, but they do arrange free bus passes for students to use the government bus. In the mess, the breakfast and lunch are acceptable to eat, but they are available at lower costs.
Faculty: There are no internships or industry-oriented sessions. Teachers come to class punctually, but they don't teach the classes properly. A few of the teachers simply copy the notes on the blackboard and ask us to use library books. It's very easy to get passing marks.

Years of excellence in academics.
Placements: Probably, we don’t have enough placement facilitations in our college. And there are no internship opportunities; we must approach everything by ourselves. The maximum package that students got selected in campus companies will be 3 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: Mostly students around the areas of Villupuram prefer this college to study. And they are excellent in academics and they are offering it to the students at no cost. But they strictly want students to follow the college instructions. We were punished severely for our mistakes.
Faculty: Our teachers complete all the portions within the given time period. We can't miss even a single class,because it will result in attendance shortages. We don’t have industrial exposure, but our teachers preferred to take blackboard teachings. Our teachers were more concerned about our academics.

Easily recognised college.
Placements: There are no proper placement facilities or internship opportunities. Everything can be achieved by ourselves, like approaching companies and placing in good companies. But we have an active placement group to share the job alerts regularly without any delays.
Infrastructure: In college, we don't have hostel facilities. Basically, students from native countries choose our college to do their courses. We only asked to pay exam fees and one-time admission fees. In our college, a large old library was located at the centre of the college.
Faculty: Students from various departments use common laboratories. In practicals, we have 20+ experiments every semester. During practical, we were simply helpless by our teachers. Also, passing examinations is easier but to improve our scores, we should study harder with our own help.

Satisfied with academics but not with placements.
Placements: Companies like Pegatron, Wipro Elite, ICICI, Axis Bank, and most startups actively participate in the hiring process at our college. Half of the final-year students got placed during the placements. Usually, the induction of the Naan Mudhalvan program helps in developing various skills.
Infrastructure: The college has a centralized library with limited copies of particular books. We don't have a departmental library, but we do have a common library. The medical facilities are average, and there is a limited number of restrooms. The campus is vast, with two sports grounds, but security systems are minimal.
Faculty: The overall academic results for the previous semester of my department were 81.8%. There is no industrial exposure or company visits arranged by the college for students. Additionally, our teachers prefer to use blackboards for teaching classes.
