Review of Arignar Anna Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: There are no placements in the core field, and only a few students got selected in non-core companies. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month and the highest salary offered is Rs. 16,000 per month. None of the companies which visit our college is not related to our course. Our college doesn't care about the course. Only 3% of the students got internships, and also it is the worst for them.

Infrastructure: There are 3 labs in 8 semesters for us, and there is no basic equipment. Our college doesn't have a Wi-Fi facility, and classrooms look like storage godown. The library doesn't have proper books. Our college has the worst hostel without proper toilets, bathrooms, bed and cots, and water is not available all the time. You should complete your daily personal needs within 8 am. A few days later, they shifted boys to ladies hostel and ladies to a private temporary hostel in a nearby town. Boys suffered a lot in the ladies hostel as there are contaminated dustbins and toilets with sanitary pads. The worst food is served in the mess, and also there is limited food for students. But they collect double the charge as per norms. Dogs will roam here in the mess hall, and even there is no canteen. Our college doesn't have medical facilities, ground and equipment for sports activities and games. Sometimes cows will roam on the ground and campus.

Faculty: Teachers here were not helpful, and they always take revenge. They are qualified but not knowledgeable to teach. Many seniors of our college will work as lecturers. The course is good, but there is no one teacher to teach it in a good manner.

Other: I like physics and has an interest in electronics, so I have chosen this course. The future will depend on this course. I wish that our college should provide more practical knowledge than theoretical in our course. Events, fest and extracurricular activities are not conducted here. Half of the amount of the scholarship is offered to students but not the full amount.

Other: This is the place where you can clear your subjects but you won't get any knowledge about the subject. This is not the right place for a perfect engineer. You have to make your own effort to understand things and no one will be there to support you and guide you. No PhD staff. No transport facility. No proper lab facilities.

Good college and infrastructure

Placements: The campus has very good placement department. The campus offers quality training for students in the campus. Majority of the students are getting the good package as expected. The campus placement department is working by arranging corporate workshops for the students.

Infrastructure: The college has good placement and excellent classrooms. The important thing is the laboratory facilities are too good at this campus. The quality of education and infrastructure are interrelated. The campus is offering good quality education with good infrastructure.

Faculty: All the faculties are very excellent. The campus has enough faculties to teach every subject with full professionalism. The campus has several PG degree holders for teaching. The campus provides good quality teaching with practical learning atmosphere.
